People on social media are saying she couldn’t get closer to the fans due to her SPS… I don’t think that’s true at all she’s done it before post SPS.

It will probably be this way until after the shows are up and running smooth… it’s CLEARLY a germ protection measure… you don’t want to have to delay these shows after six years of SPS due to a damn cold.

- Stage setup begins this Friday and will continue through next Wednesday.

- According to our sources, the stage design that Willo Perron has created for his concerts is monumental and architectural, with a show that is both intimate and spectacular. There will be no old-fashioned sets, but rather screens and displays showing videos and several short films to mark the different acts of the concert.

- She is expected to arrive at the Plenitude Arena early next week for her first full-scale rehearsals with her musicians on stage.

- Scot Price and Denis Savage will be there.

- Céline Dion’s show will last two hours, and she’ll take the stage fairly early, around 8 p.m. There will be no opening acts during her residency, though the issue was debated at length within her team. One idea was to symbolically invite prominent young French-speaking female singers, followed by a curtain-raiser featuring her favorite French DJ and composer, Quentin Mosimann.

- The question of who will join her on stage has not yet been fully decided. We already know that Jean-Jacques Goldman, who wrote her comeback song, “Dansons,” has declined the invitation.

- No interviews or TV appearances are scheduled. She was approached by TF1 and Endemol to once again serve as the patron of “Star Academy,” a role she previously held in 2007. That wasn’t possible.

Correct, at first I noticed she was quite distant in comparison to how she usually behaves with her fans but she’s probably being extremely careful for hat reason.

I think they want the big COMEBACK to be the concerts, not a tv show. Maybe she'll do something once it's started.

We did this when Celine was staying at the Dorchester in London, during the TC tour. We had lunch, with Rene wandering around the lobby, which was a bit surreal. And then afterwards we were called over to Celine's car.

It’s moving to see her here. She looks well. Rested.

As for the “no interviews at all” thing, welcome to the Beyoncé, Adele, etc. club… I imagine that from now on, she’ll shape her own narrative exclusively through major, carefully curated projects — documentaries, a few magazine covers, that sort of thing. In her case, and because of her illness, I also think that beyond being a strategy, she now has to optimize absolutely everything and minimize risks as much as possible. So no interviews when the focus is the stage.

As for the fact that she’s barely shaking hands, that’s clearly a prophylactic precaution, and an essential one. SPS or not, with such a major commitment coming up, it makes perfect sense. At one point, you can actually see her deliberately go for a fist bump instead.

Mabye RC stayed home to watch Celines little toy poodle Madison I dont think she would bring her dog there for that long of a flight then two months in a hotel that could explain why hes not there
