Yeah she said now looking back symptoms started during that tour. Unfortunately back then sure never would have associated what she was experiencing with SPS.

 

I don’t know if it would’ve made a difference tbh if she knew back in 2008 or not. Personally, I’d probably not want to know because being no cure available then or now, sometimes ignorance is bliss. After 2008, she went on to live great years with Rene, did another Vegas residency, tours, albums, welcomed twins into the world… I’d imagine a diagnosis back then might have changed those moments.

I honestly think thats the driving factor.

Oh I know that well enough, it was more like when hearing her symptoms and all that she goes/went through you would think she has enough on her mind and just be at home. That was my initial thought.

 

And maybe that's what she has been doing the last couple of years, and now she finally feels better enough to come back.

Maybe it’ll get worse… maybe there by a medical breakthrough.. who knows but let’s just hope Celine stays stable. Maybe due to her money she’s able to get treatments others aren’t.. so it’s going to be really hard to compare her to others with this disease.

Do I think she should have looked like that for this interview? No. But I do think some extra effort should have been sought. We are led to believe that she is in a much better place now but the look doesn’t come close to that.

 

Sorry if I’m being harsh- I just don’t understand their decision to show her in this way.

She has looked worse so while I can’t say that she looks horrible (the loose bun and brown hair is far better than the tight bun and blonde hair or that wig) I thought the same thing, that she looked great back stage at cique du soleil and in the vogue video. Her face thinned out a bit which makes a big difference in her appearance. Lighting, camera closeups also make a big difference. The makeup wasn’t horrible (I’ve seen worse, look at the karaoke carpool vid) but it wasn’t the best either. She looked great in the pic with hoda so when I saw the vid clips I was surprised at how different she looked.

It’s almost like they wanted her to look bad to go with the story…. Make it more dramatic than it already is. I’m so happy and grateful for this interview but I wanted her to shine too.

In all fairness she was 14 years younger there. Even the Grammys makeup would have been perfect but at this point, we have an interview where she looks healthier than in the last few years, she’s walking in heels, and she even sings a little. There Will be other interviews and appearances I’m sure where she will look better!

Anyways, everything about the look I think was done purposely. I think she wanted to look natural and subdued… everything from the simple white suit to her hair in a loose bun, gave off the vibe that “I’m the Celine going through a struggle”, not the diva and glamorous image. Which is honestly the right move in my opinion. With any luck one day she’ll be back on stage looking great… right now it’s not about that.

I’m afraid in the clip she looks not too good. Looks healthier out and about. Her cheeks look sunken and seems frailer. I think speaking openly was a huge step. The hair is dark too. The bob frames her face xx

I agree, having health issues doesn't mean having to look like hell. When Jackie Collins was battling breast cancer, she was always looking fabulous on TV. She was even on Loose Women a week before her death and she was looking like a million bucks despite being 77 years old and terminally ill.

Ever since the first spasm-related cancellation I’ve been thinking of that Dr Korovin scene where she describes having vocal spasms. She’s been dealing with this for a long, long time.

I believe she lost a bit of weight again. I think she should have used her short blonde hair since it can hide some of her sunken fats from her face and yes also the make up. Should be like from Jimmy Fallon. You can noticed from Jimmy Fallon show that she gained a bit of fats in her face.

 

At her age, she needs more fats to look younger. Now, I believe that what we saw before about her previous clips that she kinda gained weight is due to her medicines. The side effects that make you look fatter. Maybe now her system already accepts the medicine that’s why it goes back to her usual weight + the therapy/exercise
