The only project I think she could do next year beside the documentary is a greatest hits album.

 

A full album wouldn't make sense to be released right now, although Céline said she recorded so many songs that she has albums for the next 4 years.

I think Sony might release some stuff from the vaults. If she’s sidelined, they’d want some way to still “keep her warm”, and they clearly have a lot of unreleased material. I’d be OK with that.

a few questions:

 

- do you think that the soundtrack will be released on vinyl? I'm really happy that the soundtrack is being released on CD along with all digital platforms, however,

vinyl sales have grown so much over the past few years, and if the "Love Again" album is released on vinyl, the album sales could be higher and that could help the soundtrack do better on the album charts ( I pre-ordered the soundtrack on Amazon. Can't wait to play the CD in my car! Yes, I still play CD's )

 

- do you think the album will hopefully have ongoing promotion by Sony Music and Columbia Records? I'm hoping that Celine's record label team will continue promoting the soundtrack (and absolutely increase the promotion, since there hasn't been much promo so far), and that Celine will make some appearances on some shows via video within the next couple weeks to talk about the movie and soundtrack and new music! (I totally understand that with Celine's health condition that she will most likely not make any appearances in person on any shows anytime soon), however, if possible, it would be amazing to hear Celine talk by video, about her feature film acting debut and the new songs and how she chose what classic songs in her career to include in the film!

 

- do you believe that one of the new songs from the album will be released as an official single to radio? The song "Love Again" was released to digital streaming platforms, but I don't believe it's being released to radio at all. Many times when a new album is about to be released, song(s) are released ahead of the album, but those songs initally released before the album are not always released to radio. Sometimes, an official single is released from an album to radio on or after the album's release.

I really like the song "Love Again" but, I don't think it would be a great pick to be released to radio. Because it's a very softly sung, delicate, somewhat "lullaby" type song, it's not the most radio friendly song. I'm hoping one or more of the other new songs on the album is amazing, with great potential to perform extremely well on radio, with clear, strong classic vocals from Celine (from before she became very ill), and is released to radio and does really well on the charts! Can't wait to hear the other new songs!!

I wish I knew how the algorithm works in Spotify, I put the song on my almost daily spotify playlist since it was released, I always put it on shuffle mode and it has NEVER put me Love again... and it happens with other songs.. it's like spotify always choose some among others...
