But as we discussed at the time, EP is often a “honorific”/ negotiated credit. Good for her nonetheless though! More of that, please (see: Mariah producing Some Like It Hot, and now being a multiple Tony-nominee as a result.)

Often, but not necessarily (and it’s more about fundraising than personally funding). EP credits are frequently handed out for in-kind contributions.

Nothing special. That it is a lovely film and that Celine passed the test with her acting.

There is an interview with the director in english... in the middle of the report. He basically says he is a big fan of Celine and it was a dream come true for him to direct her. And that Celine had a say in the film and that she could pursue acting.

Mariah has her eye on the EGOT, she’s no dummy. If she wins a Tony, I’d suspect her next goal is to find her lane for the Oscar it won’t be the actress category.

I really hope this release makes it to Top 40 on Billboard Hot 200. The performance of Courage was so disappointing that a Top 10 placement seems unrealistic for Love Again. I have given up on the U.S. market. Quebec, France, UK, and maybe South Asia are the markets to rely on.

The next song that will be released tomorrow is “I’ll Be”, and everytime i see this title.. i kept on singing the Edwin McCane’s “I’ll Be” in my mind with Céline’s voice.

Too short to have a decent opinion.

But it sounds more like her, instead of Sia or her bedroom croaky voice.

Not a fan of the head voice for now.

Love it , lots of nice images in my head to create a powerful music video for it. The production seems very nice with some cinematic whooshes here and there to lift it up and it is very upbeat like you want to run till the end of the road (and time) with the one you love. I think this one deserves a great montage.
