I wish we could get valid confirmation of when these songs were recorded. It would definitely make me feel more hopeful if they were recorded after her diagnosis/within the last 12 months.

 

Some people were saying one song was recorded in the last quarter of 2022, but I don't think that was ever confirmed.

 

I decided to wait on hearing the new song "I'll be" until midnight EST time and many here are making it sound to be better than the entire courage album so imagine if that is a leftover…. so i can't wait!!

 

I think most fans would rate "I'll Be" as 8/10 at the least. So whatever songs you thought were less than that no Courage, just imagine this took their place lol

We know Celine has been suffering with health issues (now confirmed as SPS) since at least October 2021 - when Vegas was cancelled. Quite why anyone expects her to be doing anything (including recording new songs!) except focussing on her health is just beyond me. If these are “old songs” or “leftovers” what does it matter? They’re still new to all of us!

I personally wouldn’t compare them as they are two different styles. PMLALS has soaring vocals and sound dramatic from the clip we heard when I’ll be is fun and upbeat.

For me „I‘ll be“ sounds like a filler from courage album. So does the gift.

 

I like the Finn Remix of love again more than any of three new songs I heard until now. Unfortunately, no power ballads, just more of modern sounding songs but nothing A-list pop stars would release as singles.

Wich sounds the same as Don't let me down by Chainsmokers or Are You With Me by Lost Frequencies all stem probably from Red Hot Chili Peppers - Otherside ....which I don't mind, I totally love it, but hope there's not going to be drama behind this

I don't hear that, but I do hear a bit of "Firework" by Katy Perry...I think the note changes she does are almost identical.

An upbeat happy modern song. Without exaggerating it, to sound current which she did many many tines in the past unfortunately.

"I'll be" was so lovely. Love the vibe and I love that it's upbeat. And more importantly, I love that the reverb is back in this one. It really makes so much difference.

 

I wish she extended the high "beeeeEEEh" note and the end of I'll be though. It's just so pretty.
