I'm more annoyed that on Christmas I go to my family's house and my mom is like "I saw on the news Celine lost all control of her muscles and she's bed ridden."

Amen!! Same goes for to predict when she will announce her Vegas show, or when in 2024 those shows will happen by looking at RW agenda.

She shows up 1 time dancing at a shows and everyone is already looking for plane tickets

 

And having a fan who shows up once in a while with cryptic messages that happen to be 'true' doesn't mean he knows it all. Could easily be coincidence.

If you tell long enough that a new album will be out, it eventually will. Someday.

I’m glad I saw the biggest star in music three times and I’ll cherish those concerts until I die. The reality is we are likely to have another Celine absence in 2024. And beyond. X

I think so many people here misunderstand what many of us here mean…. Celine could never do another thing again (hope that’s not the case) however, that doesn’t give her TEAM the right to be incompetent… there’s so much they could feed the fan base in her absence, there’s unreleased music in the vaults, music videos that fell off of the map, recertification of her music that needs done…etc.

 

 

Instead they just choose to do NOTHING… its a slap in the face to the fans who bought her concert tickets and music, and cheap perfumes, and ugly and weird children clothing, and her sunglasses… etc. and now her team doesn’t do s*** for the fans until they are desperately posting deals on her unsold merchandise from 5 years ago to try and make a quick buck. It’s the reason they don’t get a single dollar from me unless it’s music or live performances… otherwise they can keep their versatile water bottles.

If people want to be optimistic and positive, let them be, especially during this time. If we lose our hope then what is left? We might as well shut down the forum and move on with our lives instead of coming here. And most of you know that this has been going on for ages, even when Celine was fine and active, many still weren't satisfied. Oh why she sings this song? Why this dress? Why this hair? Why this setlist and this stage and this speech and this accent and this voice and this pronunciation? Why they posted this instead of that? And my old time favorite that I've read here dozens of times "she might as well retire at this point". I guess some of you got your wish granted. And now we have nothing. No posts, no performances, no interviews, nothing but silence and the dreadful headlines in the media. But some of us, I dare to say most of her fans, want to hope that in the end everything will be ok, so just let us hope. It's hard enough to keep our hopes high with everything that is happening and her team's silence, there is no need to make if even harder. I believe everyone is aware that the worst case scenario may occur, but until then let's just try and be more supportive and positive to each other.

I feel sad over people hoping for some messages and then feeling sad, almost blaming Céline for the fact that it did not come yet. Yes, she did a Christmas message last year. But she also told us that she had to focus on her health. We will have to respect that. And maybe some of you are right about her team, but she showed us she was having some good days about two months ago. I miss her too, but I hope we will all stay positive while there is no news... Positive at least about her still being able to enjoy her life a bit

Well, this is a forum, it’s built for conversations. Expectations is part of it, specially when there’s not much going on.

 

Celine told us she was taking time to take care of her health, yes. But Celine was weeks ago having fun on a show and a game. Her disease is unpredictable, I got it, but I hardly see how order her team a Christmas post would damage her health in any way.

 

That being said, despite what it seems, most of us are pretty positive about her condition. I believe no one in here would demand, in any form, a message from her if we believe her situation has worsened.

 

Yes, I’m a little frustrated with her (mostly with her team, though) cause of the lack of communication in this special days, specially with all that is being said about her in the media right now. But that is because, in my mind, she is fine, she is doing ok, and I see no reason why give to us radio silence. The other option is just too scary to even consider.

I’m really torn, I 100% blame her team. I get that Celine is focusing on her health, however, the team isn’t doing the job and if the management isn’t willing to step up and fix this, then Celine the buck should stop with Celine, and she should be FIRING someone. I never for a second bought that while she’s been off trying to heal that she hasn’t had a least a few business phone calls… there’s no way she’s unplugged 100%. I think if she had Rene that would’ve been possible but without him it isn’t.

I think we should realize that whoever is managing Celine’s social media is a 20-something year old that interns for Sony, makes no money, and manages the social media for dozens of other artists, whom they probably know very little about. All they have to go off is what is in the archive. These are all the resources Sony has allocated to Celine. A measly intern. If we knew who that person was and offered to help them, maybe they’d be open to a collaboration. Just a thought if someone has time on their hands and wants to do research.

 

All the record companies are well aware that they make more money off of streaming old hits. There is very little new music production happening. Same thing is happening with movies. The top movies of this/last year were sequels or reboots. The only resurgence I see Celine making on the charts is with TAST. She could do a small Christmas tour every year like Mariah and still be relevant while having the rest of the year off to rest and get SPS treatment.

I agree. A Christmas message is something we get every year, even last year. I think most people here would have been thinking during her silence of this year that at least there is likely to be something from her around now. To have seen her out and about a month ago looking pretty well and then silence now seems odd.
