For those of you who don't visit the board often and don't know what to make of Dreamy, I'll quote myself and add to the list:

 

Dreamy has been the most reliable 'source' on this board, even if he/she has always been vague.

 

- Said we would 'soon' get an explanation for her absence +/- 2 days before the actual SPS announcement

 

- Told us we would get a 'little surprise' around the time of the D'Eux tribute concert (i.e. the interview with Jacques)

 

- Has consistenly told us that 'all would be well' but to 'be patient' whenever others with so-called 'inside info' told us she was dying.

 

He/she has also consistently told us Céline will 100% be back on stage at some point.

Yet to be proven of course, but there's literally nothing I want to believe more.

 

Add to this:

 

-he/she said we would see Céline again 'sooner than we think' after her hockey appearance. She appeared at the Katy Perry concert the same night.

 

He's also said we will get a holiday message from her, so hopefully we can add that to the list soon 😊

Variety has wrote probably the best article yet on all of this! The contradictory nature of all this with Claudette and the media. I am so glad they reached out to her team and are no forcing their hands to update us. This is getting ridiculous and they can't have her out dancing her #ss off at Resorts World and not give a damn update!

 

I think IF (which i think they were) Planning on releasing a come-back-to-stage in 2024 announcement in January they need to get off their arse and release that message this week. I've had enough of this crap.

To be fair Claudette is not even saying that. Her quote is about Celine always being in control when it comes to being healthy and disciplined in her life, and not being able to fully do it anymore cause of her muscles.

 

But the translations and clickbait medias are making it look like she says « Celine looks complete control of her muscles », implying she’s a vegetable and we know that is not true.

 

They are trash. But I wish Claudette would just stop mentioning her sister, that would avoid this kind of situation.

 

Although people will feel bad about Celine after reading that, and that’ll help whatever comeback is planned for sure so… idk

CBC posted an article saying the same thing. This is supposed to be reputable news outlets, not gossip. And they are giving Claudette the last answer. And, to boot they state they have reached out to Dion's team but no response. Lol. I have no words

well i am sure it will be "happy holidays!" message from Celine.

it could have been pre-recorded weeks or months in advance but they will post it on the xmas eve or around that time.

I don’t speak French, but for what I can tell from others fans in here and on Twitter, her sister not even said what the media is putting out. She didn’t said Celine’s situation was worsening, she was generally talking about a disease that makes you lose muscle control. But some news outlet translated badly and it was replicated by others.

 

And the fact that some of the media contacted her team and got a “no comment” response, really puts fire on the whole thing.

 

It’s complicated cause I don’t want to say Celine is in anyway obligated to give us information about her health, but then again, if the rumors (can we call that? expectations, maybe?) of her coming back next year are true, I see no reason why they can’t just let us know everything is fine. It’s confusing.
