Nmj Posted March 2, 2023 at 02:16 PM Posted March 2, 2023 at 02:16 PM I saw it on tiktok. But then I saw on tiktok that she is dead too so best not to get concerned about it. Many doctors have said with this disorder SPS also comes ask elevated risk for a patient to also have breast cancer or diabetes… I think people heard that and are running with it. We have no reason to believe this is the case… 1 Quote

thatstheteacherinmehbaby Posted March 4, 2023 at 10:08 PM Posted March 4, 2023 at 10:08 PM When I heard this news a few months back, it about BROKE MY HEART! The health issues she has been going through, & the most likely possibility of MORE HEALTH ISSUES coming her way (but most of what & when is still unknown to everybody because this syndrome is so rare!) & also the possibility that she might not be able to sing or do tours or record albums anymore sucks SO MUCH! & yes "Love Again" was filmed before all this started thank goodness so we all have that to look forward to, but after that, there will be nothing else to look for & that is kinda sad to think about, but I am trying not to think about that too much. thatstheteacherinmehbaby Posted March 4, 2023 at 10:12 PM Posted March 4, 2023 at 10:12 PM & the radio silence from her end for the past 2 years definitely told me that SOMETHING INDEED WAS WRONG & I was starting to embrace that there would be an announcement coming about her health issues at some point... But I would have NEVER thought it would be so etching SO SCARY & TERRIFYING as what she is going through. Yes I do know that it is not the WORSE THING ever, but the fact it is SOOOO RARE & so much unknowns about it can be scary. & I am worried for Celine, & for her kids & family as well! Sorry but that sounds weird... Who said that Celine "is a man"? Good Lord, I have NEVER ever heard that rumor, that's crazy! I mean the woman has been pregnant 2 times & has 3 kids for God's sake, it is OBVIOUS AS HECK that Celine is a woman! A man could not get pregnant & give birth, so how could she be a man? Lol that's ridiculous, the stupid rumors people come up with, it makes no sense whatsoever! Quote sincerely, maria <3
thatstheteacherinmehbaby Posted March 5, 2023 at 11:20 AM Posted March 5, 2023 at 11:20 AM You can read more about Stiff-Person syndrome here: https://www.ninds.ni... muscle spasms. The treatment and prognoses isn't great. Hey I have a question for you, this is purely out of curiosity: If this Stiff Persons Syndrome does end up severe damage to Celine's body like in most of the articles that I have read about this disease doing/has done to others who have it, & because of the major possibility that Celine ends up in EARLY RETIREMENT from singing/performing of stage ever again (as there are articles saying that Celine is unable to sing right now & this illness can cause spasms in the vocal chords as well as in other parts of the body which Celine has already been suffering with, & which has caused the cancellations/postponements of her shows during the past 3 years)... Will it cause the whole forum (since it is dedicated to Celine & bares her name & all) to be shut down since Celine will really not be an actively performing singer anymore at this point? (Yes I know the "Love Again" movie will be coming out in a couple of months, but I mean after that & there are no more projects coming up or any news to talk about, & with this illness, it's very doubtful that the "Courage World Tour" will ever continue, I think she only kept a few shows instead of cancelling all is because of contract/$$ issues, but most likely she will either postpone again or just cancel altogether if she is still not able to sing, she can not perform concerts if she is unable to actually sing! It's depressing to think about!) Quote sincerely, maria <3
thatstheteacherinmehbaby Posted March 5, 2023 at 11:34 AM Posted March 5, 2023 at 11:34 AM Most of us are in this stage of trying to make sense of what happened. And that is OK. We are trying to rationalize the situation and this is part of human nature. I personally attribute everything to her emotional stress since 2016, and the neck-cracking pace of doing show after show, whilst showing the world she was OK. IMO she did not have enough space to engage with her vulnerability, take adequate time to mourn and slowly deal with the trauma. That's what I am saying to myself when I try to find an explanation so that I address the chaos in my head and heart about all of this. I am then thinking that she loves life, and she is a fighter, which means that she will find a functional solution around the issue depending on what it affects. If it is the vocal cords and light/sound sensitivity, this will mean no more concerts but she might be able to still record music and therefore do what she loves. If it is her ability to walk only, she might be doing shows, but take a different approach to them. Any type of aid, she can have it on stage - there are singers dealing with physical disability that manage to be on stage and deliver. She can therefore be happy about doing what she loves the most. Do not get me wrong, I am not writing these possibilities from a fan perspective as much as I do from a Celine perspective. Because I want her to be happy so I am trying to find some silver lining. Yea but I have read articles that Celine can not sing at all (because of the muscle spasms of her throat, which is why she has had to keep cancelling/postponing shows during the past 3 years,) so I really DON'T SEE new albums being recorded if she can not sing (we know Celine would never become another "Milli Vanilli" & try to "lip sync" to other people's singing, & besides we all know there is NOBODY ELSE IN THIS WHOLE WORLD who just has the absolute MOST GORGEOUS SINGING VOICE LIKE CELINE'S or sounds anywhere near like our CELINE'S!) So honestly unless a drastic improvement happens for Celine, I just do not see new albums from Celine, unless they are either 1. "Greatest Hits" albums (& we already have sooo many of those from her anyway, & plus with all of her albums already on streaming music services such as Itunes, Amazon Music, Spotify, etc available for the entire world to listen to, "Greatest Hits" albums are just not a necessary thing anymore like they used to be years ago,) or 2. Albums with rare previously unreleased songs on them. (Now that is what hopefully Sony SHOULD do for Celine & for us fans in the coming years is release those songs, especially since her singing career is most likely over at this point!) But as far as Celine recording new music goes, it looks like because of Stiff Person's Syndrome, Celine's recording & performing on stage & touring days are over! It's depressing to think about! comingback Posted March 10, 2023 at 03:51 PM Posted March 10, 2023 at 03:51 PM (edited) Translation: On December 8, 2022, Celine Dion announced, via a video posted on Instagram, to be affected by the “stiff man syndrome”, a very rare neurological disorder. Since then, the singer rarely communicates but her relatives give her news as often as possible. On February 10, the biographer of the Canadian spoke to the magazine “Public” and revealed that Celine Dion was in the mountains of Colorado, “surrounded by specialists”. But according to information from "Closer", the interpreter of "I'm Alive" would have decided to follow a new treatment in order to try to overcome this disease. For this protocol, the mother of René-Charles would be supported by Jill R. Schofield, the head of the Center for Multisystem Disease (center for multisystem diseases), located in Denver. And it looks like the singer is on the road to recovery. A few weeks ago, she would have benefited from “a complete assessment of the means of treating her neurological pathology” affirm our colleagues. Moreover, Celine Dion would have already received an intrathecal puncture, which consists of injecting a certain drug into the subarachnoid space, making it possible to reach the cerebrospinal fluid, which will then diffuse the product in question. https://www.centerfo...temdisease.com/ Edited March 10, 2023 at 03:54 PM by comingback 2 Quote

Last chance for what? Just a bunch of conjecture from a trashy tabloid.Anyone actually involved in her treatment plan would be risking their career and exposing themselves to lawsuits under HIPAA if they disclosed private patient health info and treatment details. Doubtful anyone in the know would do that just for 15 seconds of fame in shady tabloid press. Edited March 10, 2023 at 04:35 PM by scielle 4 Quote
