GOING TO TIE MY MOTHER TO A BURNING PYRE AND SACRIFICE HER IN THE NAME OF MARIE CLAUDETTE

🙄🤭

Let me know the date… flights back home are cheap at the minute

I just don’t understand why they didn’t think at least one new song would be appropriate for this project.

Yup, can’t believe they don’t have a single song in the vault that they could have added to this.

I like the soundtrack actually. I think we’re just desperate for a new song. Something from the vault needs to be on here though - good god come on . On a positive note I think it’s vacant of new material because new stuff will be coming.

I AM: CELINE DION, the upcoming original documentary on Prime Video, gives us a raw, behind-the-scenes look at the iconic superstar’s struggle with a life-altering illness. This inspirational documentary highlights the music that has guided Celine’s life, while also showcasing the resilience of the human spirit. I AM: CELINE DION (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) includes 13 classic hits, along with 7 score tracks.

So, the tracklist that leaked had only 12 songs, maybe at least an unreleased track ?

According to Amazon, this isn’t the official album artwork thankfully. I think it’s atrocious.

It’s everyone’s fault who buys this… it’s exactly why SONY music doesn’t give us the fans anything worthwhile anymore.

You have the same people who crave and complain for Originality from Sony, yet they will buy this up like it’s the hottest thing since sliced bread. This album could’ve easily had at least one “new” song included… if she couldn’t record, then something from the vault would have sufficed. I can’t believe they couldn’t even have something new for the end credits.

We can’t even get rid of RDMH? it’s so important that it’s included in her documentary, yet others were left out. It’s just utter laziness on Sonys part, you can tell because they are opting to not include any of the “hits” they included from “Love Again” soundtrack except LA and ANHDC.

If you all refuse to give your hard earned dollars to this it could well send a message to Sony. But if you buy this rubbish, in my book you can’t complain. Don’t worry Celine won’t feel the “burn” I see there was a story in the Las Vegas weekly today, that someone just broke her record of 30 million USD for her home in Vegas by selling their home for 35 M USD, she’ll be okay. :D

I’m not at all surprised that there are no new tracks- I never expected there to be an accompanying soundtrack at all anyway, let alone attached to the promotion of new music.

Live à Paris & Vegas CD both have new songs, why not to release one in the soundtrack as a Bonus

Ashes is ok, but they are missing recovering

Besides nothing new, this track list is so poor in terms of a gift to the fans

Maybe vocally she’s not 100% just yet.

And do they still do hidden tracks these days? Lol

Maybe she isn't, but she has a whole album full of Courage leftovers collecting dust.

So they could easily done that.

The 'Love Again' part I think that's when they show us Celine back in the recording studio.

Seeing the tracklist I hope they don't do segments with these songs. But I guess this will be the trip down memory lane and her dealing with sps.

Anyway, it's time to release a trailer. With this tracklist I'm losing all hope for a decent documentary.

Maybe the songs on the doc were chosen by the director and it had to be those ones to make sense with the storytelling. It’s not just another GH but a soundtrack. If that was the case and the songs were added thinking about creating a compelling and cohesive movie, I’m ok with that.

If the fans buy it, it justifies Sony to not put any effort towards future material. Just saying.

It’s an amazon original in partnership with Sony and Vermillion films; so it will stay indefinitely.

Anything that belongs to them stays, only films they pick from other companies disappear.

They posted a little video and info that there will be early screenings.

Well, we already knew that, so this is disappointing. Doesn’t sound like there are any plans for a real premiere and certainly at this point it looks like no festival screenings, and that’s just sad. You’d think they’d want max exposure, to expand beyond her ardent fans who are going to see this anyway. Unfortunately it looks like Sony/ Amazon are just targeting this at her existing fanbase.

Ya I’ve decided I’m not going to buy this either. Ifs too much of a slap in the face to her fans. Not one song from the vault . Not one new song . Nope. Done

Again, not to sound like broken record… no pun intended. But yes, the only way to “protest” team Celine and sony is to opt out from buying to send the message. Again it’s not commenting or writing because they clearly don’t read or listen to that. Hit them where it counts and don’t buy it… that’ll get their attention.

I work hard for my money, just like I wouldn’t buy the same shirt 12 times, I won’t buy this, again.

Dumb move. I think we can assume by this Celine won’t be taking part in any media promotion either.

Not to mention they used the same colours as in 'Encore Un Soir'. I got so upset seeing this!

OK guys! Some EXCELLENT news!

People ARE complaining under TC posts on Facebook and Instagram. Loads of comments calling TC out on milking fans' money with yet another compilation. People are asking for unreleased material and many referring to 'Play Me Like A Love Song'. Finally, several comments demand an explanation as to why hundreds of Instagram posts were deleted. These are the themes of the highest rated comments.

I am certain that this is the FIRST time I am seeing negative comments under a TC social media post. Usually, it is us in this forum who complain, but that's not the case anymore.

I urge you ALL to like these negative comments on social media and post your very own as well. I just did it and it felt GREAT. :-D

Doesn’t mean they’ll read it.

What, y’all aren’t excited to buy the same 12 songs again? Say it ain’t so! 🤭

On the plus side, I did just discover Redi Hasa, who seems to compose uniquely for the cello (which I absolutely love) and he’s got this great album of Nirvana covers:

If the highest rated comments continue being the negative ones, of course they will pay attention. Social media is all about image. This is a perfect opportunity to show TeamCeline that there are consequences for their actions. Of course, this will be further evidenced when the album is released and charts nowhere. :giggle:

At this rate, I wish they just let him cover all the same 12 songs they are including.

If that is the case (which I think it is) I would have then expected them to offer us these songs but with new arrangements. Personally, I'd be up for that!

Let’s all boycott the album. The least they could have done was the new remix(es) as bonus tracks… they didn’t even do that!

Yes, comments are nice. But the real protest is to not buy or stream it.
