The documentary made me realise a lot was happening under our eyes without us knowing. I always wondered why Céline looked so distraught after Quebec 400 anniversary concert back in 2008. Never really understood why she told Annie "it was so hard" doing the show. But after everything we know now and how she had to sustain that high note with Ginette at the end of the show everything is way clearer.

 

That nasal tone she has been using ever since to compensate and which was/is despised by so many especially on the francophone side, that absent look she used to have during some interviews....I feel so much for her. I think people knew deep down something was off but just couldn't tell what it was.

Acqua Panna, Italian brand. I would’ve thought it was in Europe as I don’t believe Acqua Panna is that prevalent in America, and we know Céline prefers Fiji. But I guess it’s the Baccarat after all..

The bob gone is the best thing… still wonder why they brought it out of the drawer for her Grammys and vogue appearances?! New era new hair. Everything about the Courage era is giving me PTSD just because of the world right after.

Other than the fact that they physically look alike, there's a lot of similarities between Maria Callas and Celine's life one of them being that the architect of her career was her first husband who was 28 years her senior. I wonder if there will be an Aristote Onassis in her life in the future...

I think at the beginning of the year she was still not quite there yet in terms of stabilizing her condition and hadn’t reached the “new era” yet. We know that at the Grammys she was still nervous about her health and felt safer covering herself up… and also the scars. Then in the Vogue interview she was reserved about the prospect of returning to the stage. It just generally felt like they didn’t want to begin the new era just yet, but rather were caught in between the old Courage era and the obviously new phase, with the bob reflecting that. I feel like the new era really started with the documentary and the associated promo. Now she’s ready, confident about it and ready to show it to the world.

 

Anyway, we know Céline keeps everything but let’s hope the bob is lost somewhere deep inside one of the warehouses.

Indeed not with the way Onassis treated La Callas. But I don't see Celine living alone for the rest of her life. And she looked so alone in the documentary. I can only hope she fibds someone who would make her older days less gray

Well as much as I believe it's going to be playback...but then why playback? The world would see through it, SOMEONE will and the news will spread(due to all the media around her these days) and they will term it as a "Celine can't sing and is using playback" even when she's been openly using it for decades.

 

Also why would she be rehearsing and making a drama about a comeback when it's gonna be her old voice in playback only?

 

 

Something tells me she will sing live or maybe a soft song.

& also this Documentary has made me realise how health, & life in general, IS SO VERY PRECIOUS!!

 

& with everything Celine has been through (& will still be going through when it comes to her health,) that we all as fans SHOULD BE VERY GRATEFUL for whatever Celine is able to do down the road instead of expecting her to be able to "turn back the clock" & try to be somebody she is not able to be now. Celine does not need to put too much pressure on herself, & she really does not need to endanger her life by trying to push herself too much!! ����������������������������❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
