What could they sing? 😂 If Celine has to collab with an artist to benefit off of streams it would have to be someone like Adele, Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars, even someone like SZA who I actually like, I think someone needs to get Celine a collab with Olivia Dean, she’s current and has the old school vibe at the same time… she won best new artist this year at the Grammys! For a real good collab it can be with a complementary voice only or a legend of music, not just a “popular” singer. i have to say I am a bit surprise that Celine has never mentioned Raye ! I loved this new direction for Céline and at the time I considered it one of her best French albums, and I was excited at the possibility of her next English album following in a similar style (spoiler: it didn't live up to the hype imo). You are right for international audience. and you are right regarding Celine not being fond of Lara) But for French audience it would be THE duet !!!!! Adele and Christina Aguilera are recognized singers but just stars among the others, not so special ( I confess that I don't understand Adèle success since I wouldn't even cross the road to hear her singing 😙) Rihanna more, but for French market it has to be with a French celebrated singer. I cannot imagine Celine having duet with Mireille Mathieu. I'd love a duet with Pascal Obispo, actually I wish I wrote songs for this album. Quote
