It was a great choice, as we can see it’s going well on the charts, even with NO PROMOTION AT ALL. It’s a current and nice soft song. Very “Sam Smith’s” actual songs style.

I would like to hear the pure isolated background vocals for the chorus without having the lead vocal over it. I find it extremely cool when Celine does her own background vocals (like in Ten Days). I love that!

 

I wish to hear her doing sth. Like Justin Bieber in Love Yourself, or Ed Sheeran (Shape of you) and Mariah Carey (Angels Cry). It sounds really awesome when done right :)

 

The only thing that „bothers“ me about this song is that in the chorus she sings the word Imperfections as „I got my own imperfectiouoans“ in a sort of lazy way, like she doesn’t feel like pronouncing it right or just does it the Celine Dion way #lurve not love, which kind of lowers it’s coolness factor

Not necessarily irrelevant. AC charts show what AC stations are playing. Same thing with country or pop stations.

But they are indeed much slower to change things up, hence the long time to reach the top.

When did “lazy” become the Celine adjective. It’s truly unreal.

Someone actually posted an article about how AC is more relevant than ever as of recent. I just tried to search for it and can’t find it, but it’s definitely not irrelevant.

Well, in a month of so the AC chart will freeze to leave place to Christmas songs; maybe it would have reached top 10. Hope that then it will continue climbing in January.

Wow, 25 to 19 on Billboard AC chart is a big move. We were just commenting how slow-moving that chart usually is.

With an AC hit on her hands, she has no choice but add Imperfections to the show! :D
