I'm working on a version 2.0 of the music video because i still think the video is too basic. It's not Celine fault her team/,sony or whoever is in charge for providing decent funds for her music video.. So I gathered a bunch of images about flaws , imperfections , therapy, people dancing and not giving a f*** .. and added it to her music video. If Imperfections does not become a hit, it does not necessarily mean it is not hit material. Céline has had most of times difficulty with singles. For someone of her status (basically #2 female recording artist in history) she has very few hits. Her whole persona is the reason why people loves her, but at the same time radio do not necessarily play her. She has long passed her prime; youngsters who make the big bunch of spotify listenners were not waiting for her material and will not immediately consider listening to it, even though they may buy tickets to see the legend in concert singing the classics. Nevertheless, to be seen if AC radio fall back in love with her. If this is the case, then Imperfections may have some legs on the long run. Time will tell. I would not say it's the end yet. But if that was the case, I am happy with both quality of the songs and the promo. Both were top notched, and so much higher than for previous English releases. However, she didn’t even perform the song live in the first few shows and made zero public appearances on any shows... all promotion has stopped so far, no wonder the song stopped in its tracks recently. 1 Quote
