Woohoo 13 adds for celine this week in AC radio

Yup!! I thought I was the only who noticed. And her diction is so bad these days! Producers don't have the guts to have Celine start over. Bring back David Foster. He was amazing at fixing her pronounciation. And this was back when her English sucked!

 

I found her english quite bad these last few months. She's got a strong accent and always seems at loss for vocabulary.

I don't know if this was directed at me in any way but all I did was point out something. She sings it correctly so clearly she just made a mistake and the director didn't notice it. It's not a big deal, mistakes happen all the time in filming. Worse errors have been caught in major film/television productions.

 

Definitely more at the other person than you, you simply pointed something you thought you saw out

I thought her English was quite good in many of the latest interviews. The accent will always be there but it was pretty fluid.

Just some little Imperfections but no big deal. It's Celiiiiine!

On the last BBC interview her English was good, well in the I video

when I saw that she is out of sync

with the playback it did felt kind of... , but I tell you at this point

she doesn't care for these kind of things, nor for having bad diction

when singing. I don't care much because I always had

to go and check what she is singing about

I honestly have a harder time understanding what singers like Billie Eilish are singing. It's literally just mumbling and I can't understand a single word. Ariana is another mumbler but much less. Celine could work on her pronunciation a little more but it isn't bad and isn't happening all the time imo. At least she can blame it on the fact that English isn't her first language. But I think sometimes it's a deliberate choice (in general it's a choice from all singers but some do it better than others).

 

Sia also doesn't have the best pronunciation at times but for some reason I can understand her lol.
