Does anyone remember back in the day where Celine was doing an awards show red carpets and then just stopped, and I remember reading she said it was because she didn’t like being asked about who she was wearing and etc about fashion .... wow how the tables have turned I think she likes talking about fashion now but she she hates doing the red carpet at Award shows because she scared someone asks her a question about her music lol. The volume of positive press has been crazy - it's usually a lot when she's out and about doing her hotel fashion shows, but this time it's unrelenting!

I've been trying to keep up, but it's a full-time job!

 

And ya'll wonder why she's leaning into this and making the most of it. Just look at the reception she's getting!

Wow, just WOW! Please tell me they can see the difference between hair down and a tight bun, please! The hair framing her face doesn't make her look so skeletal. I mean come on! Sorry I'm no "stylist" "fashion" person but it's right in front of their noses!

Many of us have been saying just that. Yet some people here keep saying the bun is nice! A bun can be nice, but not on Celine's slim face. Let's hope for a bun-less era! :D Edited by Xpresso

In fairness she has mostly stopped sharing her family life though. I miss that side. I guess it it understandable given the circumstances. It's been a difficult few years for her and the kids. But that Celine seemed so much more authentic to me than 'fashion' Celine.

I think she realized it wasn't necessarily particularly healthy for the kids. It's quite noticeable she's doing things differently with the twins than she did with RC. Gone are they days when she'd schlep out her child for a car commercial - and in my books, that's a good thing!

I like the length. Don't worry, she'll put on her "hair" for the concert. I'm convinced it's part of her stage alter ego. She becomes "Celine Dion" with the putting on the wig on stage then when shows over.... wig off....POOF! just hair up, Celine. Like Clark Kent, she is. :laugh: What do y'all think?

I love this haircut, so fun. Just wish it was a a darker blonde or very light brown but it still looks great. But maybe she's just experimenting with a wig?

True. I don't think it is necessarily that Rene wanted that and she didn't. It's probably mostly that sharing personal aspects of you life is harder when things aren't so easy. It would have been unfair for cameras to have been around the kids in the circumstances as they might have been in the past.
