I wonder if there will be another version with the background vocals just like they do live on tour.

 

Becuase IMO adding Sias background vocals while Celine is singing the verses sounds totally messy, and then after Celines "you can't take it from me" there is silence until she sings "Can't you see...". I think this is where the background vocals should have been added on the album version.

 

However, the live version sounds just like that. I guess Scott was of the same opinion as me and changed it for the live version

The way I interpret that line is, you can love someone so much that you can forgive and forget all the wrong they've done.

 

But now she's out the door! She can't forgive forget no longer.

I interpret it as ''loving yourself''. Cause once you focus on improving yourself you are very much occupied with this. No time for negativity and bitterness. You forgive and forget.
