And if that lawsuit is true to be happening, I guess she'll announce a big tour so as to pay for it... :hmm:

 

As long as more albums come with tours...

 

One think we know. After this album is released, it's back to waiting for 5+ years for a new one. Or longer next time...

Yeah so let's enjoy all this.

 

But I really hope that this time the album will have a longer life.

As in promo and touring with the songs.

Instead of releasing it for the sake of releasing.

 

I think releasing the album earlier in the year can help with longetivity.... its like LMBTL and TC promo just stopped after Christmas. New year seems to stop everything....

On the other hand, we also know why they stopped with those albums (both for very different reasons).... it doesn't really have to do with Xmas..

Hmmm maybe, or it will just start gearing things up again! It depends on many things, but if the reception is good and it’s successful maybe Celine will find again a renewed interest and passion in recording music more often. I feel she lost the interest in spending time in the recording studio way before René got sick, and having a smash album or single and good reviews from the industry could change that long gaps and make her feel “hungry” to deliver more music. Just my two cents :)

Celine for sure isn't going to announce a final tour. I can tell you guys that much. Celine talks a lot and is very open with her fans and her emotions. Celine wouldn't keep thoughts of throwing in the towel to herself and if she did, she wouldn't blindside us with it in such a teasing way. Trust me, if Celine were thinking of quieting singing or going on a final tour, she would have openly talked about it in many interviews long beforehand, if Celine were to ever go on a final tour we would know about it. There wouldn't be a grand announcement in a theater through a Live Facebook feed.

 

This is going to be a happy announcement for sure, not sad. People don't do a Facebook Live and special invite, plus create anticipation with Carpool Karaoke, Jimmy Kimmel, GMA and a big Summer concert to make a sad announcement. That's not even including the news of a possibly new single, coincidentally at the very same time all this stuff is about to go down. It's definitely going to be something big and exciting. Celine hasn't given us any reason to think she is going on a final tour and her recent actions show the exact opposite of someone who is thinking of slowing down, so I don't think there's anything we need to worry about. :) I think there is only good things to come after the end of this Vegas residency. Celine is only just getting started! :-D

 

As Céline always says "the best is yet to come" ;)

We all still waiting, for say “best” to come... only thing that “has come” was A New Day and that was 17 years ago.

That's a good guess .... I have always thought she would eventually transition to doing smaller venues, and I think it makes some business sense for her to do this as ticket prices can be wayyy higher and the overhead is much lower compared to doing a stadium tour. It essentially turns her shows into a luxury product, people pay more for access to Celine in an intimate venue and none of us can afford to see her anymore lol 😂

I think there’s definitely a way to give fans a different experience in smaller venues through mini residencies across the world. Gives her and the kids a little bit of stability but also gives fans a chance to see her. I could see LA, NYC, Miami, Boston, Austin, etc. Who knows but that would be a new business model to my knowledge.

I think this special event may well be to do with a tour starting in North America maybe around the fall but still not convinced it means new music is on the way as it still seemed a while away when she was being interviewed at end of January at time of Hyde Park announcement.

 

I do hope I’m wrong!!

im curious she was able to say anything because important stuff like this the usual is to make them sign a NDA non disclose agreement

to keep mouth shut at all cost.
