I was thinking the same thing, but then I wondered two things...

 

1. One it’s too early with the last leg of Vegas show tickets still available.

2. Why do they need a audience to announce this? Unless they market this upcoming possible “tour” as her last ever?

I really think it's gonna be a bunch of things at once.

 

And one of those things will hopefully be a Netflix series, documenting the last few years (the aftermath of René's death, the Dionnaissance, her illness, making of the album, ending with the final Vegas show and release of the new album).

When I first heard about this secret event, I immediately thought that it was going to be a listening party. Now that we know this is going to be Live on Facebook and have seen pictures of the theater, I don't think a listening party makes much sense anymore. Something like that wouldn't be released to the world Live on Facebook.

 

I think this may be about a big grand announcement of a major world tour and a sneak peak performance of Celine's rumored upcoming single. I think she will either do a Live performance of the song, or give fans an exclusive listen of the official track. That's just my thoughts on what this could be about anyways.

Celine for sure isn't going to announce a final tour. I can tell you guys that much. Celine talks a lot and is very open with her fans and her emotions. Celine wouldn't keep thoughts of throwing in the towel to herself and if she did, she wouldn't blindside us with it in such a teasing way. Trust me, if Celine were thinking of quieting singing or going on a final tour, she would have openly talked about it in many interviews long beforehand, if Celine were to ever go on a final tour we would know about it. There wouldn't be a grand announcement in a theater through a Live Facebook feed.

 

This is going to be a happy announcement for sure, not sad. People don't do a Facebook Live and special invite, plus create anticipation with Carpool Karaoke, Jimmy Kimmel, GMA and a big Summer concert to make a sad announcement. That's not even including the news of a possibly new single, coincidentally at the very same time all this stuff is about to go down. It's definitely going to be something big and exciting. Celine hasn't given us any reason to think she is going on a final tour and her recent actions show the exact opposite of someone who is thinking of slowing down, so I don't think there's anything we need to worry about. I think there is only good things to come after the end of this Vegas residency. Celine is only just getting started!

This has been happening since the Celineununu collaboration. A lot of Donald Trump fans have been going in on Celine.

 

Actually, it's not since Celinununu, but it's from the fake news last year that Celine said that she wanted to leave the US because she can't stand Trump.

And this fake news was shared wildly on social media by many accounts, some are popular Trump supporters. Therefore, many Trump supporters are angry with her since then (while the truth is that she NEVER said anything about Trump or U.S. politics at all.) and nobody cares to correct this fake news. -*-

 

Then another fake news: when Celine released Celinununu collection, many people used the pics of Nununu's old collection that features some scary pics (like devils, demons, etc.) and misrepresented that Celinununu (which is a totally different collection) made creepy, inappropriate costumes for kids. -*-

 

Sadly, many people still don't get the facts and still misunderstood Celine until today while those things NEVER happened. Social media fake news are so dangerous. I hope we fans help correct some if you found those comments (if possible). But that's OK anyway. Those fake news are shared among certain groups, not big enough among the general public. And the mainstream media still supports her. So I think when her new music comes out, everything will be absolutely fine. Her reputation is still strong.

Exactly!

 

It’s always better to be true to your values & beliefs and make a stance. Celine will gain more respect that way instead of cowerding down to hardcore Trump supporter cuckoo birds.
