Since i refuse to pay thousands to MEET someone and i don't speak a lick of french minus some song titles i pretty much know my chances of meet and greet are slim to none. (Realistically the french speakers stand the best shot at obtaining meet and greets via mailing her team)

 

Sad but true. There's other ways go meet celine and i hope to be lucky enough to have such a coincidence occur.

 

Well at the moment it seems like no one is being granted meet and greets and by mailing her team did you mean the info email? Cause from what I last remember in M&G thread the email address no longer works for meet and greets so I'm guessing the only way is through direct contact and even then from what I've heard it's tough.

The first artist to take a stand to this ticketmaster crap, i will buy their ticket and go to their show. Regardless of who it is. Someone should have the guts to say. Tickets are box office sale only. Or SOMETHING. To some extent artists perpetuate the problem too, even if its ticketbastards doing the scalping and scamming. I just want someone to put their foot down.

Yes ticketmaster in many ways is the enemy. The fees have risen to stratospheric levels.

 

How are TC ticket prices set compared to the regular tickets? Who decides the prices? I was looking at tickets for the 1st night of the Brooklyn show and TC tickets in the furthest section from the stage and 6 rows away from the very last row were $149 for TC (row 8). Seats directly behind that are the platinum seats for $116 (row 9) and the row behind that are also platinum for $109 (row 10).

If I remember correctly too many of the same people were getting meet and greets some even back to back and fans were complaining. Celine too seemed to be a bit frustrated. At the time they pulled the system and said they were working on a lottery style system which would eventually be debuted. That never happened instead what they did was they honored canceled meet and greets for normal fans and then afterwards they stopped giving any to regular fans and now from what I myself see are being given to mainly high rollers and VIP(such as celebs and companies stuff like that)

Ok... so I realized I made one ticket purchase from TM (for Charlotte) and one from AXS (for Minneapolis) based on the email confirmations I got. I received the album redemption email from TM but nothing from AXS... has anyone received anything about the album from AXS? Either way I'm getting an album but I was hoping to have one delivered to my home address and one delivered to my work address so if they actually arrive on the day the album drops I can listen to it right away whether I'm at home or at work!

I got nothing about the CD from my Minneapolis ticket from AXS. Didn't even mention it so not sure what is up?

Totally based on the show you want to see. On the official Celine Dion website, it’ll direct you to either Ticketmaster or AXS based on which location of show you chose. The majority are Ticketmaster. She’s doing three shows in the state of Ohio alone, and 2 are Ticketmaster (Columbus and Cincinnati) and Cleveland is sold by AXS.

 

However it seems like the AXS tickets seem cheaper.

Random question. Those of you going to multiple shows & buying multiple VIP packages: would any of you be willing to part with the merch, mainly the designer tour portfolio?? LOL I'd like to have that but I refuse to pay $849 for it. Depending on what all is in it & what the final product looks like (if it's just an envelope of pictures versus a nice portfolio/case with the pics, etc.) I'd be willing to send a little money your way (within reason).

Louisville i had floor seats for $219 after fees. About as good as what they were offering besides platinum/vip. That was their top floor price.

You'll get three. I received two emails about cd from Ticketmaster. One for louisville ans one for columbus. I'm assuming Cleveland i didn't get the email. Maybe its automatic on that one? Ticketmaster makes you accept the cd otherwise they won't just send it.

Can I tell you what is complete horse s***? The scalpers have been busy! I just found HUNDREDS of tickets for sale on ebay at HUGE mark ups and the general sale hasn't even started. I am so disgusted right now. In the city where I am seeing Celine, Jacksonville, ebay seller TICKETCLUB has a pair of VIP 1ST ROW SEATS for $8046.52.

 

 

Here's the thing. I was online at exactly 10:00am on April 8 and I went directly to the sale page from the queue. Row 1 & 2 were completely unavailable. What we have here is high thievery, apparently, allegedly, coming directly from ticketbastard. I find it VERY interesting that those seats were not showing available and are now on ebay for over $8000.

 

This should absolutely be illegal. This is shameful.

Alot of those tickets are fake tho. Like alot of the time they dont actually have said tickets theyre just scamming.

 

Not to mention that alot of acts dont let the first row go on sale during presale for that reason. You may find they alot become available for the front row tomorrow

Ticketmaster actually has an ongoing lawsuit against them for exactly this reason.
