Yep, just got the TM Album email too... pretty straightforward. That being said I only got one... and I made two separate ticket purchases (one for Minneapolis and one for Charlotte). I wonder where the second email is?

Yes that is odd, I placed 2 orders with TM and did get 2 emails about getting the cd for each. Mine didn't come right away though, so give it a day and if not then call TM

Sweet! See ya there. ....lol in 9 months. But really, I am happy to have this to look forward to. And I have to say I'm a little crazy about it because when she announced the tour, the tickets went on sale just days later. I need time to prepare for such things! Still trying to wrap my head around it since Celine was in Vegas for 16 years!! I am stunned and a little freaked out that I have 3rd row. Which is actually like front row because there are no seats in front of me because row 1 and 2 are shorter. Sorry, i'm just stunned about this I didn't think I would ever see her again. I've been waiting 20 years.

She doesn't sell M&G packages. Anyone that gets them gets them for free!! However, they're very hard to get. A lot the M&G's go to foundations, sick kids, a few "high rollers" and VIP's (like the mayor of a city type VIP or celebs), etc.

Well for Vegas at the moment she isn't even really doing them for sick kids or foundations. Seems to me it's mostly high rollers and VIPS. Haven't seen any other kind for a couple months now. Though she used to do what you mentioned plus some regular fans too. As we all know this changed quite alot after the 2017 mini tour.

In all seriousness though, I didn't think the NY tickets were that bad. At the time I was looking there were a bunch available at $89, $146, even some at $59, which is totally reasonable IMHO.

Yeah, packages are ridiculous - promoters know there's enough willingness to pay for that sort of thing - but the "plebeian" tickets aren't that different from other artists of similar stature.

 

Where were the $59 ones? I went on at 10am to buy tickets for the Brooklyn show and didn’t see any that were “cheap”...I ended up biting the bullet and spending over $2,000 for 2 floor seats in the 3rd row because even nosebleed seats seemed unreasonable in price. I’ve seen her in concert 4 times plus once at Divas Live...I absolutely adore Celine and have been a fan for almost 25 years, but I doubt attending any of her shows from this point on is doable. The ticket prices are just too much to justify.

$59 tix were same level as the $89 ones, but they were AmEx only. There were quite a few when the 2nd Brooklyn show opened. Same for the 2nd Newark show iirc.

That's hilarious! I for one am sooo glad she is ending her Vegas res and going back to doing normal tours. She must be glad as well, I mean can you imagine that you had to cater to high rollers. They are not true fans, more like gawkers who have a leg up to meet Celine bc of how much money they spend in the casino. All I can think of is alcohol and smoke. Her two favorite things. Ugh.

That and I think the Vegas audiences were just getting stale. You can tell on the mini-tours her enthusiasm and energy is completely different compared to when she's in Vegas. Some nights, yes she's on fire. But the "regular" audience (mega fans not included lol) is way less into than the tour audiences. I think she's bored and looking for a change. So glad she's changing it up a bit.

 

I do wish I had more turn-around time from being in Vegas for the final 2 shows before the Quebec shows. I was hoping, like with TC Tour, she'd start somewhere else and we'd have maybe a year to save for the states/North America. But ya know, they don't consult me on these things. I think because of all the mini-tours and it's been 10 years :msn-oh:since she's toured the states is why she's starting here.

After paying TMaster additional $18.50 for 2 day business delivery of my tickets, I get this message from UPS:

 

"A mechanical failure has delayed delivery. We're adjusting plans to deliver your package as quickly as possible. / Delivery will be delayed by one business day."

Yes more will be available Friday but my card needs a break. I plan on getting detroit/chicago/indy when the time comes as im sure day of or shortly before there will be a plethora of tickets available at face value.

I sat in balcony seats for every concert, I wanted good seats. I’m not a 15 year old going to the concert with my mom anymore, I’m 35 and grown with an excellent job. When I looked at the price of crappy tickets, it wasn’t worth spending a few hundred to stare at a screen so opted for the better tickets instead knowing this will be the last time I see her live with those prices.
