Philippe Posted April 11, 2019 at 11:50 AM Posted April 11, 2019 at 11:50 AM Well some journalist said this 6th show is the final one so hopefully I do not expect her to have 10 dates like she had for the TCWT or in 2016, but if it all sells out tomorrow, I doubt they will not add new dates. 1 Quote

I genuinely think they (Celine) want to pace this properly, and if theyve announced it as the final date, thats what it is Quote
Thnswlsn25 Posted April 11, 2019 at 12:17 PM Posted April 11, 2019 at 12:17 PM I can't believe what's going to come! This woman is amazing! She's a real powerhorse. I've read somewhere that TCWT almost killed her, and now here we are. This tour is even not the farewell tour yet! (this better doesn't be her farewell tour) She has been and continues to give us a lot! 2 Quote

I have done a quick search on google and have not found any confirmation to that effect. It might be the case, but what is the source? Rouge FM? lol Quote
emi&celine Posted April 11, 2019 at 12:31 PM Posted April 11, 2019 at 12:31 PM I have the feeling they will add four more shows in Montreal: 8,9, 12 & 13 October...then Cleveland on 16 October. It would match her usual shows/rest schedule 😉 1 Quote

Philippe Posted April 11, 2019 at 02:24 PM Posted April 11, 2019 at 02:24 PM (edited) Yeah exactly.. very quick to go on the defensive arent you I am not on the defensive, I just hate misinformation. We are all big Celine's fans and acting in good faith, but I think we have to do our best to avoid any kind of misinformation (assumption vs facts as an example). We have to be careful on how we present the information. A tweet from radio station DJ is not an announcement. It is easy to validate the information that we read. It takes just a few minutes and avoid any kind of misunderstanding. Edited April 11, 2019 at 02:31 PM by Philippe 1 Quote

I fear for her voice. 65 shows only in the North American leg and counting. I fear for her voice and what condition will she have even before she finishes this leg and continues to the next She clearly doesn't know any limits when touring? They'd rather come with a GREAT production that is more and beyond her voice and offers some dancing and choreos because if the focus is only on her voice again, I bet she won't be able to disguise the (ab)use of playback this time. Xpresso Posted April 11, 2019 at 02:40 PM Posted April 11, 2019 at 02:40 PM (edited) She should rename the tour: The Killing Me Softly Tour... Edited April 11, 2019 at 02:41 PM by Xpresso 2 Quote

Idk, but Vegas is one thing, going to sing to the same place and go back home every day; touring the world are bigger words. That means traveling and visiting dozens of cities in a very short time, sleeping in different places, receiving air conditioning in many different scenarios... It's just not the same when touring. This one will be a tough one! 1 Quote

Those 65 dates are heavily spread out though. Shes done it in a way where shes never doing more than 10-15 shows without at least a two week break before she starts more shows. She knows her limits better than any of us, thats for sure. And abuse of playback... really? She isnt Britney or JLo. As someone whos discography is full of so many difficult songs, she completely reserves the right to lip sync certain notes or songs 4 Quote
Philippe Posted April 11, 2019 at 02:46 PM Posted April 11, 2019 at 02:46 PM Well Vegas is not as demanding for her (no travel, no jetlag) and shorter shows too. This one will be a tough one! Indeed, it's gonna be harder for her body. This kind of tour is exhausting for a 20 something year old pop star...she's 50. I find comfort in the spaces between the dates. She is not doing more than 2 shows in a row. 3 Quote
