When you bought your Cleveland Show tickets, did you have to get a flash ticket? It’s told me I can’t have tangible tickets. Then it redirected to an app to check on my tickets and they don’t come up. :hmm:

I've created an account (after buying tickets) with flash seats using the same email.

It states tickets will be sent april 17th so im hoping by then we will have our answers

Yeah but

cover=512x768

In all seriousness though, I didn't think the NY tickets were that bad. At the time I was looking there were a bunch available at $89, $146, even some at $59, which is totally reasonable IMHO.

Yeah, packages are ridiculous - promoters know there's enough willingness to pay for that sort of thing - but the "plebeian" tickets aren't that different from other artists of similar stature.

Yeah, but there were very few of the reasonably priced ones. Tix were $ 250 or more for the ENTIRE floor section AND the entire first set of stands. A few under $ 100 in the very last rows of the highest section. I’d be with my mom and she can’t do the steep hockey arena stairs like that. (We did it together 22 years ago in the LTAL tour and it was hard even then; out of the question now). We’d need an aisle seat in the first row or two, even in a super-high section. There were only a couple in the first couple of rows of the highest section, and even those were priced at $175 (for nosebleed seats??) and then even those got bought. And this was the Long Island show - Brooklyn had even fewer reasonable seats.

It just annoys me when she talks to fans at Kimmel and says, “Oh, you have to come to my show,” and fails to mention that they’re trying to squeeze as much $$ out of people as possible. (And logically I don’t blame Celine personally. I’m sure she has no idea whatsoever what a reasonable price is because she’s wildly rich.)!But I saw her a few years ago in Vegas and paid ca $ 100 for further-back floor seats. That felt expensive but not insane. But $ 250 for stadium seats? That just feels like greed.

Singers these days don't make cash on albums anymore. It's all about tours. This is why every artist these days tours more than they did before (maybe not true in celine's case as she toured so extensively in the 90s). But respectfully 100 CAD for floor seats is like 80 USD which is so cheap i can't even fathom. Sorry but nobody should find that expensive.

The thing to be leery about buying tickets is it has gotten very difficult with multiple scams. You have to be self aware on what is a good deal and not. If the ticket does not say standard (but instead platinum), you are being ripped off.

To be completely truthful the standard prices are significantly lower than i expected. The VIP packages admittedly might be more, and platinum seating (ticketmasters undercover way of scalping tickets on their own) are the cause for most of this headache. Check out lady gagas show. Ticketmaster has scalped every ticket even the nosebleeds are over $1000+ minimum.

Largely the problem is not celine. The standard prices set are more than reasonable. The epidemic of ticketmaster ripping fans off however is getting worse and worse.

I think Tickmaster makes more money per show than the artists!! Totally crazy!! I'm surprised there is no class action (or group litigation)against them yet!!

That will supposedly be sent the release date of the album itself, so you may have it on release date

Did any of you who got the flash tickets get an email about getting the CD? I have not, just curious. I wanted a real ticket but it said it would be $25 additional fee.

The prices just keep getting worse. Tix that were $ 175 on Monday are now $ 280 or higher — for several rows in on the HIGHEST section of nosebleed seats. Only single seats by themselves in the last couple of rows are under $ 100.

Very disappointing. It’s all about $$.

Most of that is ticketmaster adding Platinum value to “desirable” tickets. Not Celines fault, its their way of scalping

Yes!!! This is what it is. I checked just for fun and literally the ticket RIGHT by where my mom and I are was just upgraded to platinum. The whole row was regular tickets Monday. Maybe we just got lucky before they realized they didn’t upgrade as many as they should’ve.

I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!

What is a flash ticket? An electronic one?

I bought them and still trying to figure that out lol.

They've started with platinum seats now in Charlotte. No more Team Celine that I can find. I'd bet money the general onsale will be mostly platinum seats and they'll raise the standard price a bit. That's what happened in Vegas. I literally watched by the hour that day as someone wised up that we were all buying Friday tickets instead of Final Show tickets and they made them all platinum. Now the entire last leg of the run is obscene. Personally I wouldn't count on better prices Friday. I'd love to be wrong about that!

What's the thrill of catwalks on a Celine Dion show? Unless she's dancing and moving around the stage with this tour, I can't see the importance.

All I fear is that she uses them to do some kind of section about a mini Paris fashion show

Werent you one of the people demanding a better production, she gives a more modern advance stage set up and you’re complaining... already.... 5 months before the tour even kicks off I-

Just check regularly a few weeks before the concert. The packages and platinum tickets will be sold at regular prices. Most people can't afford to pay those prices.

Well it's more dynamic than a regular stage. I love it.

Think she will use it the same way she did during TCWT.

And now more opportunities to have a good seat.

Later can figure out which catwalk she uses more, so getting cheaper tix for that.

Yes, your ticket comes on the AXS app. I didn't really want this but it was $25 extra to get a real ticket :(.

Ok... so I realized I made one ticket purchase from TM (for Charlotte) and one from AXS (for Minneapolis) based on the email confirmations I got. I received the album redemption email from TM but nothing from AXS... has anyone received anything about the album from AXS? Either way I'm getting an album but I was hoping to have one delivered to my home address and one delivered to my work address so if they actually arrive on the day the album drops I can listen to it right away whether I'm at home or at work!

Only problem with your statement is that the extra hundreds based off this demand is not going in celine's pocket but instead Ticketmaster.

Platinum seating is ticketbastards way of scalping their own tickets. I don't understand how it is legal.

Yes ticketmaster in many ways is the enemy. The fees have risen to stratospheric levels. With my Diamond ticket at $825.00, they tacked on:

fees

USD $3.90 (Order Processing Fee)

USD $2.74 (Facility Charge)

USD $122.50 (Service Fee)

For a TTL of $972.64. This does not include insurance ($70+) or shipping of tickets. (1K+)

No, I cannot afford this ticket, i'm in shock at how much I spent, but I am elated to see Celine from a good seat which I have never had before and after waiting 20 years! Probably n e v e r pay money like this again and there is nobody, nobody, I would pay this much to see other than Celine period. Having said that, remember all the employees that have to be paid on a tour like this, musicians, support, merch, truck drivers, food service, security, hotels, etc plus the gifts they give in the VIP pkg.

But I think the Platinum ticket is complete BS and at the venue where I am seeing Celine in Jacksonville, they also added a bunch of Platinum seats TODAY. And they are pricey. Where before there was Diamond Pkg for $825 on row 3 and Ruby on row 6 for $575, they have now inserted Platinum seats on row 5 for $725.52. They have the nerve to try and charge a Platinum seat on floor row 12 for $606.50 and this is behind a row of Ruby's for $575. Keep in mind at least with Ruby, you get stuff! Most Team Celine seats avail on the rear floor (a few left) are $197 (row 29/30) and are the same price in the first level up in the rear corner and back. Oddly, they added a bunch of Team Celine seats, all aisle seats on the first level up in the rear for $96.76, not bad if you ask me. On the 3rd level, there are PLENTY of TC seats for only $66.76. It's nose bleed, but hey, bring binoculars and you're good to go and include a night out after! If she added a 2nd date here, I would be all over one of those less expensive tickets. For a very stark comparison, my buddy and I just got Chris Stapleton with Brothers Osborne tickets, at the same venue, on level 3 for $88 each with all fees included. So those 3rd level seats seem to be priced the same as Celine. Can't wait to see Friday's prices.

The first artist to take a stand to this ticketmaster crap, i will buy their ticket and go to their show. Regardless of who it is. Someone should have the guts to say. Tickets are box office sale only. Or SOMETHING. To some extent artists perpetuate the problem too, even if its ticketbastards doing the scalping and scamming. I just want someone to put their foot down.

How can you find out how well sales are going so far?
I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.

I'm WAY out of the loop, what happened on the mini tour that changed the way M&G's work?

If I remember correctly too many of the same people were getting meet and greets some even back to back and fans were complaining. Celine too seemed to be a bit frustrated. At the time they pulled the system and said they were working on a lottery style system which would eventually be debuted. That never happened instead what they did was they honored canceled meet and greets for normal fans and then afterwards they stopped giving any to regular fans and now from what I myself see are being given to mainly high rollers and VIP(such as celebs and companies stuff like that)

I’ll laugh if Ted Nugent does this. That would put you in an ethical conundrum. LOL i keed. I keed! ;)

Since i refuse to pay thousands to MEET someone and i don't speak a lick of french minus some song titles i pretty much know my chances of meet and greet are slim to none. (Realistically the french speakers stand the best shot at obtaining meet and greets via mailing her team)

Sad but true. There's other ways go meet celine and i hope to be lucky enough to have such a coincidence occur.

I can’t even get into AXS to look at tickets. Does the presale not extend to AXS? Only TM?
