I guess she will need to do like Shania, 85% playback? How will she manage so many shows in a row?! I think in Europe she’ll do stadiums and less shows.

 

Even on the TCWT playback was nowhere near that heavy and on the TCWT she was doing shows more frequently... hell even AND 5 shows a week she didnt have that much playback

Am i the only one here that isn't that much excited by these added shows? Sure it's great that people want to go to her concerts but the numbers keep increasing and she hasn't even announced the rest of the world dates. Considering the fact that she didn't have a break for quite some time, that the new album is coming out and the amount of shows she is going to perform.. i'm just worried about her..

Well, since the Barclays Center is literally 4 blocks from my apartment I bit the bullet and purchased a ticket for her Saturday night show as well. Got a seat right in front of the catwalk for that one and will be going solo. Gee, I sure hope I like this album.

If Céline and her team keep on addind shows it's because Céline want it that way! We could feel through her latest interviews and TV appearances how much she's looking forward to it. They don't push her. She wants to do those shows and have an amazing with her fans :) That's what I think :-D

If Céline and her team keep on addind shows it's because Céline want it that way! We could feel through her latest interviews and TV appearances how much she's looking forward to it. They don't push her. She wants to do those shows and have an amazing with her fans :) That's what I think :-D

me too, I´m sure she isn´t forced to do so and she won´t overwork herself, regarding the amount of shows and also the rest of the world...I´m sure she knows what she does

They left room around certain dates so that these extra shows could be added. They were already planned to take place. The pre-sale is used to determine how strong the demand is, so it would only make sense for them to add them now. Edited by brendanm999

I know man and there's no doubt that she wants that ofc. She loves it and she missed the whole touring atmosphere. Still, i'm worried. She said before that when she loves something and she is passionate about it, she doesn't know when to stop. I wouldn't mind if she would be doing 5 shows a week for a straight year lol. I just want her to be well and healthy like all of us here and to have some rest. That's all. Maybe i'm just overprotective :blush:

I have an extra ticket for sale for Montreal on September 30th. Section 103, Row A, Seat 1, right by the catwalk. Selling it at cost value.

I don't know about you all, but I am booking my flights and hotel reservations with cancellation as Celine has cancelled on me at 3 different times of my life. Especially since this is cold and flu season.

That and she wouldnt do any shows that she felt would be too much for her or for her schedule. She knows what shes doing and Dave wouldnt let her either.

 

My only concern is that this tour is gonna last well into 2021 lol

I’m not saying she is pushed to add more shows, she is probably overwhelmed by the demand and happy about adding them, but ideally I think she should have one day off between shows. TCWT was 10 years ago and she was younger. Anyway I trust her and her doctors so she will manage, just worried about her voice.

Well she hasn’t cancelled or rescheduled ANY dates over her three summer tours, Infact, she did 89 shows in 2017 i believe and cancelled one due to back pain, so I hope shes fine and any cancellations are rescheduled

Yeah because people are already filling the train carriages at negative central station, 5 months before the train departs

If she can do 146 dates between 2016 and 2017 with only 6 total cancellations... she can definitely last a world tour. I mean she did 75 shows between 3 mini tours and didn’t cancel or reschedule... it doesnt happen lightly for her anymore

Wow....

 

It was more along the lines of advice. Clearly you've never had a concert cancelled and needed to cancel a trip. This is not negativity, this is being realistic.

Yeah no expense spared on promo. I've heard of many (non-fans) getting push notifications to their phones and being perplexed b/c they're definitely not the target demo!

This. A little disappointed she chose to come to NY in the winter. She could get sick, I could get sick, my child could get sick, my babysitter could get sick, there could be an ice storm or a blizzard. . . (Last March, we had one nor’easter a week for the entire month of March). I’m taking this into account; it’s another reason I’m not willing to spend $ 250 per ticket. Really annoyed about the prices — i haven’t bought tix yet. Hoping more reasonably priced upper level seats open up with Friday’s sale.

I'm worried because she's going to travel a lot, she said in the interview that I saw a place to go to see her children, going back and forth after the shows is very tiring, remember she did it in Europe in 2017, she ended up getting exhausted and with ear problems.

What she should have done was to have a distance of at least two days in each show.

 

I do not know how she's going to do in Europe or if she's going to do a few gigs in LA, only in the bigger cities, I hope she goes in places she does not do shows, Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, South America.

I did not understand why they did not put any shows in Mexico, it's so close to the United States.
