AdrienneM Posted February 6, 2020 at 01:36 PM Posted February 6, 2020 at 01:36 PM Average? We are all crazy for paying such high prices for one evening watching a concert? Concert prices are out of proportion these days and as long as we are so easy agreeing with those prices and willing to pay it will not end. In comparison - taking chances worldtour I had a ticket near the stage, on the floor, 99 euro while those same seats are now 211 euros! Crazy! Have you seen the superbowl with Shakira and JLo? With all the choreography etc. That is a show worth a big amount of money! I dont think you quite understand how touring and live performing works. To rent Madison Square Garden and provide amenities as well as services, its over $200,000. Then, factor in the stage transportation, set up, rigging, clean up and further transportation. Id guess another 100-150,000. Then, theres Celines fee to perform, which id guess for a 2 hour concert is around $750,000-$1,000,000 per show. Then you have money needed for agents, promoters, Celines full touring team etc.. and you’re probably looking at around $1,500,000 to put a show on at MSG. Now, If you divide that by the total end-stage set up for a Courage show, thats around 12,000 people; giving an average ticket price of $125, not factoring in the platinum or packages, which would bring it up to around average $170 per ticket. Now, as for your comment on price, did you go and see Celine at Amsterdam Arena in 2008? If so, that explains the price difference as wel as just the difference in economy 12 years after the fact. A venue which holds 55,000 people, is going to make the say $1,500,000 fee waaaaay quicker than Ziggo Dome will, hence the price difference. 2 Quote

So getting that length and thickness can be achieved in a very short amount of time. It might even be a half wig that she takes on and off. Quote
chocolatechip15 Posted February 6, 2020 at 05:49 PM Posted February 6, 2020 at 05:49 PM Any idea how long before ticket prices come down a bit for unsold tix? I’d like to see her on Long Island on March 3rd - there are a still a number of tix unsold - mostly the absurd Platinum tix that are like $400 for mediocre seats. And plenty of resale seats, but I don’t have the budget for $ 250 for the partial view sky-high seats. I can’t imagine all these seats will be snatched up at these prices in the next few weeks but wondering at what point they might come down. Thanks Quote
DionFanAlways Posted February 6, 2020 at 05:52 PM Posted February 6, 2020 at 05:52 PM Tulsa got talkative Celine last night. I guess because of the weather she felt like chatting. I miss her banter on this tour. The clips on twitter and IG are funny. 2 Quote I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.

Thanks Normally the unsold tickets get low prices but don't know when (that happened to me for a Brodaway show, I got my tickets months ago, then realized better seats got lower prices, so I asked to change my seats for the same price, and for SAN Antonio's show I saw some floor seats with lower prices as well) , the resale tickets keep the price I guess unless the seller changes it (not sure how resale works) Edited February 6, 2020 at 07:15 PM by SantiagoColorado 1 Quote

It looks way better than those extensions she used in the past, and it's probably more comfortable. Celine can afford the best stuff, and hair isn't cheap. Plus, she doesn't have to wear it all the time. You might be right about the current look lasting throughout the Courage tour though. I think she looks beautiful even with the blonde bob, but I still hope that she ditches it for Europe. Or sooner. 2 Quote

I think the blonde wig is more a hair piece than a wig, seems like it's just a thin layer that goes over her actual hair which she has cut in a bob. If it were a full wig it wouldn't separate in a way that you'd see a distinction between her real hair and the wig. You can see it here 1 Quote

It’s hard to tell. I wonder if her natural hair is just too thin to achieve the old look? Quote

Tom_London_Fan Posted February 7, 2020 at 10:59 AM Posted February 7, 2020 at 10:59 AM I think she should go full out Cher mode and switch to several different wigs throughout the tour. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. 4 Quote

I thought to give a signal to the sound director to turn the playback off. But here in LCMM I don't have a clue why she does it Quote
