Ajax Posted January 24, 2020 at 06:23 PM Posted January 24, 2020 at 06:23 PM She always a bit struggles on some few parts in IYAMT. It s not an easy song in a way that there is quite a lot of words especially in the most intensive parts vocally, the dynamic is quite there. But when you hear ABM of course TLBSEPT The Prayer and even so many others she masters way harder notes even with a high flow. Well that’s my feeling. 1 Quote
pat200 Posted January 24, 2020 at 06:30 PM Posted January 24, 2020 at 06:30 PM , [Notice to all French and Belgian fans] According to an informed source working at Sony Music France, TF1 negotiated with Sony and Céline's production a live broadcast of its show at Paris La Défense Arena, the largest concert hall of Europe. The broadcast date would be Saturday July 4.TF1 should not communicate on this event before June (contractual clause).A CD / DVD / Blu-ray of the concert would also be considered, for a year-end release. Source: CD fans FB page that would mean no further legs will be added to the tour. so World tour means NA and Europe Quote

couldawouldashoulda Posted January 25, 2020 at 02:28 PM Posted January 25, 2020 at 02:28 PM I’m waiting until the last minute to buy mine. (Already have tickets to the other two.) I already saw a single ticket 5th row drop to $331 but I thought it would go lower. Was wrong - someone else snagged it. Will keep looking. There are lots of “$900 VIP Diamond Package seats that will drop significantly in price once the show is closer. 3 Quote

Some buy tickets last minute I very highly doubt it. To sell 5,000 tickets only 5 weeks till the show date when there are already 2 other dates at the same venue as well as it being a mid-week show... AND at those prices, either it’ll be cancelled or it will probably get publicised as a flop Quote

Why ruin it for the 8000 people who paid lots of money and are excited to see Céline just to avoid having an attendance of 60-70% (on 3rd night!!!)? The people who ARE going to the show are more important than those who aren’t. Also, we already know how much Céline hates cancelling shows, she definitely won’t let 8000+ fans down for no real reason. 5 Quote The best is yet to come...

Also, we already know how much Céline hates cancelling shows, she definitely won’t let 8000+ fans down for no real reason. At the end of the day, its the promoters/the venues/ or her teams call. If the sales remain poor they’re likely to cancel it. 1) to claim insurance and save wasted money for a half empty arena 2) to save her rep and avoid a Mariah-like, Christina-like article saying the show was a flop 3) So she doesnt end up disappointed seeing said half empty arena Upon further checks it seems the total available tickets sits at 5,918, and when i last checked before Christmas it sat at 6,072... so not very good in terms of late sales either. I mean entire blocks are completely full with only a few back blocks and the front 3 floor sections sold out. I hate to say it but the 3rd show in terms of sales is disappointing, but hey, the 3rd show and she already doing multiple other shows in the NYC/NJ area. Quote
ivo Posted January 25, 2020 at 04:15 PM Posted January 25, 2020 at 04:15 PM They can always use a half of the Arena and the rest will be blocked. We will see. Tyler1991 Posted January 25, 2020 at 08:33 PM Posted January 25, 2020 at 08:33 PM (edited) I honestly dont think they will have any problem getting the third shows numbers normal by time it comes around. But 3 shows there with 1 in chicago is weird. Especially when she did three or four cities in ohio. Edited January 25, 2020 at 08:34 PM by Tyler1991 2 Quote
hugo020 Posted January 25, 2020 at 10:07 PM Posted January 25, 2020 at 10:07 PM They won’t cancel the show for sure. Some tickets will sell and then promoter will do fill-in. Meaning give free tickets to business partner. It happened in Montreal during 2016 tour. Last shows had empty sections so Evenko (promoter) sent and email to all its employees who could buy up to 10 tickets for 20$. Lot’s of artists do it. Beyonce & Jay-Z did it a lot for their On The Run Tour ll Quote

Céline RO Posted January 26, 2020 at 03:33 PM Posted January 26, 2020 at 03:33 PM Hi friends !Do you think Céline is gonna be going back to Vegas maybe in 2022/2023?I hope her come back in the city so much I'm not sure I would like Céline to return to Vegas but I do think it is quite likely. Let's not forget that the video made to promote this world tour is called "Ciao for now Las Vegas". The key words being "for now". Moreover, she is allegedly building a house in a place called "The Summit"? which is in Vegas so I don't think she plans on abandoning the city anytime soon. Now, the reasons why I wouldn't consider it ideal. I understand that for some time it was the most convenient option (still performing while raising young kids or René being sick) but that is no longer the case. I hope she goes back to making albums more frequently and doing more varied, creative tours/shows. I wouldn't mind her going back to the "album followed by tour" schedule. I feel like she's much more exciting, alive and fresh while on tour. Even her voice is stronger and, on top of that, she's more exposed to the world and accessible when she's not "locked up". It's crazy that she has to tell her audiences "I can't believe it's been ten/twenty years since we were last here". I really hope Céline does look into that and does do something about it. Vegas is a very nice option for performers but Céline has definitely had enough of it. My long-term dream/vision for Céline's career is for her to still be very successful as a performer decades from now (like Cher or Elton) and not to Fade Away like Mariah, Christina or Barbra. I do think the mini tours worked very well. 2 Quote Amsterdam 18-06-1997 - Amsterdam 14-06-1999 - London 10-07-1999 - Antwerpen 14-05-2008 - Antwerpen 21-11-2013 - Las Vegas 10-10-2015 - Paris 09-07-2016 - Arnhem 23-06-2017
