Oh, and I don’t know if made it to social media, but after MHWGO, she went to the side of the stage and knelt down and talked to a little girl with what looked like Down syndrome for a minute. She was up front and I’m glad security let her get up close to the stage. It was so sweet!!!

Another satisfied customer. I swear the only people who are bitching about the set list and what an awful show the Courage Tour is are only people who haven’t actually GONE TO THE CONCERT. Just watched it on YouTube. There is a HUGE difference.

Omg what a great second show... I was 5th row on the floor right hand section but on the end of the row right in the middle of the stage and I was just in awe the whole night!!! It was awesome. Ooh no about the fights..I didn’t even see any fights near me at all so I don’t know what happened!! She was awesome! She seemed to love the crowd too!!

I was listening to Over the Rainbow, the official one from her facebook.

Really, her interpretations of this song, which were all amazing, enter into one of her most memorable moment as a live performance for me.

 

It's exactly as the Prayer solo version in this Tour. She's like creating a new genre by mixing with such a musical clerverness, with that control and beauty, her POP voice and more Operatic technics. This is like a slap in the face for me, from her control and the beauty of her musicality, tone and raisonance. There's no over vocalist doing such a thing. Also, the way she plays with the strenght in her voice going from full power to head operatic voice playing with her tremolo. God I love what she's doing. She has always been able to do that and she already did it here and there all her career but she woudn't have sound as good with her prime voice. That is really something she explored and worked on recently.

I just want to take a moment to say how proud I am as a fan of how Celine found the ‘courage’ to go on with these last few shows after Maman Dion’s death. I did have a feeling she would go on with the show on Friday at least, to honour her Mum/Mom the same as she did for her Dad but then I wasn’t sure as I know she’s said in interviews talking about that night that she maybe shouldn’t have gone on as she was so upset throughout that show. The other night she showed how strong she’s become due to all that she’s been through since her Dad passed but most importantly she did it all with such dignity. Her Mum/Mom would be so proud, I’m sure.

 

It just goes to show that no matter what reputation she’s got from disappointed fans, who’ve experienced multiple cancellations, during her Vegas run, that she certainly never does it lightly and hates letting her fans down. I hope she takes the next week or so off to be with her family and that they all find the strength to give Maman Dion the send off she deserves.

The show was so good.

 

So they play different dance songs before it starts to get the audience going. Whenever they played a Celine dance mix (Any Other Way, Misled, Treat Her Like A Lady) I stood up and danced like crazy and lip-synched. I was in the front area in an aisle, so I was glad I could be up dancing and not block anyone's view. I even made it on the big screen once in my Celine by Pepe fashion illustration tee!

 

Well... the concert started and it was fabulous and I was dancing like mad and kept lip-synching. Backup was right in front of me looking down over me, so I kept gesturing to them and blowing them kisses and singing their parts with them and they seemed to love it - I DM'd Dawn after the show and she said she saw me and loved my energy.

 

A few moments into TTWII I was tapped on my shoulder. IT WAS PEPE AND DEE!!

He whispered in my ear "I got your message, we're here to dance with you" - it was like a dream - I swear I thought it was a dream. I mean... total fan moment.

 

You see the day before I had tagged them and Syd on Instagram under Celine's post about being in CLT. I said "I'll be there! Pepe, Dee, and Syd come d-d-d-danse with me!"

 

I gave him a big hug and kiss on the cheek (oh my god he is so handsome and warm and soft and I am totally in love), and I took a selfie with them, and they told me to enjoy the show. Syd didn't introduce herself, but she was standing nearby, and a little later I walked over to her and exclaimed how wonderful Celine looked.

 

So anyway, that was the best part for me. The entire show was spectacular, and Celine didn't connect with me, but the band members and her team did, and I totally felt like I was part of it all for that moment. So amazing.

May I just say you know it’s gonna be good but when you actually go, it’s a whole other level!!! Her energy is INSANE and so infectious!!! I miss it so much. For 2 hours of my life, I didn’t think of the pressures of life, I was simply there living in the moment. I wouldn’t change it one bit. You’re gonna have a BLAST!!!

I’m so so glad you got to go and had an amazing time!!! I saw her in Raleigh for the TCWT, but I have to admit, this tour is better. It’s about her, her voice, and not the spectacle. Yes I know I’m talking about the woman in 5 haute couture quick changes, but I have to say, she’s a class act and there’s so much of a reason why people keep coming year after year. It’s quality music, and she is so authentic!

 

I saw you on the screen, btw!!! That’s so great that it was you! The little boy dancing in the aisle was my favorite! So adorable. The guy in the mustard jumper that did the whole dance routine also had me cracking up

Whatever they did with the stage reconfiguration really helped. There were fewer rows of people in front of us than I thought there would be. We sat down and I was like "OMG!" lol

This was stop 3 for me. Minneapolis, Atlanta, now Charlotte. Great energy. I did think it seemed a bit odd without the stage catwalks, but it seemed as though it forced her to spend more time in the front of the stage, which was great, because that’s where I was sitting. Being so close, I noticed for the first time that she doesn’t wear shoes with the MHWGO dress.

Looking forward to Raleigh and DC.

That is really cool. Celine might not be able to do things like this with fans but you know Pepe and Dee tell her about these things. No doubt it warms her heart to know her fans are interactive and supportive of the people close to her, and also that her team/friends are willing to interact with her fans.

 

I've seen Pepe twice up close. Once during the taping of the Thanksgiving special and then in Albany (he and her trainer came out and stood next to the platform to watch Celine during IACBTMN and TTWII). I didn't dare call out to him lol. I did sneak a picture of him though XD. He's very tall and looks like such a sweet guy.

Loved reading everyone's reviews. I do find the show to flow very nicely in person. I like the prayer being moved to the third section. I was thinking about the setlist a bit at then show and it really isn't that bad. It checks a lot of boxes.

 

No doubt the show is geared toward the masses and in that regard they have done a solid job. And yes, of course there could be room for improvement, that statement will always apply...but how easy would it have been for them to just give us a lipped wdmhbn instead of iyamt?? Or a less exciting french song.. I'm very thankful we had at least those two gems.

 

Yes as big huge fans we want this and that but at the end of the day celine is enjoying herself more than she seems to in Vegas. And the crowd eats it up. There really isn't a bathroom song with how things flow.
