Popular Post CelineDionFreak Posted January 22, 2020 at 04:50 AM Popular Post Posted January 22, 2020 at 04:50 AM My, my, my, my!!!! I just got out of the show and that was AMAZING! May I just say the setlist is perfection. I griped about it, but now that I have seen it and heard it in person, it just flows. Celine loves what she does, very much so, and it shows. It went way way too quick and I wish I could go back and watch that again. From the beginning to the end, I was just staring up in marvel. You’re The Voice is so good. It’s not hers, no, but she does it justice. And the speech is totally cute in person. I have to admit, I was laughing. I’ve heard it a million times, but she made it seem like the first time for me tonight. The Cover Medley is also phenomenal!!! Every song just flows one right after the other and it’s so upbeat and fun. Kiss and River Deep were so so good. Lady Marmelade was also top notch perfection! Courage I almost started crying, honestly. When the first chords rung out, it was like I was only just hearing the song. The lyrics are perfection, and I knew that going into it, but she just takes it to a whole ‘nother level when you see this live! The last two verses were amazing. There were two big standing ovations. It was 2-3 minutes after All By Myself and a good 4-5 for My Heart Will Go On. I didn’t want to see her leave, it was just so all encompassing. I could really go on, but from the costumes to the show to the stage to the lights... to Celine and her authencity. She is truly amazing. It was a night I’ll never ever forget and cherish for the rest of my life 23 Quote I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!Le temps qui compte pour Celine est maintenant!
jpatdeleon09 Posted January 22, 2020 at 05:36 AM Posted January 22, 2020 at 05:36 AM I want to say this again It’s better to see the show live than watching it on a video on YouTube/fancam. It’s so different in live. The sound is much better. Her singing is much better in live. I don’t know why in fancams it changes. 2 Quote

maki_Dion-er Posted January 22, 2020 at 06:52 AM Posted January 22, 2020 at 06:52 AM (edited) the segment about Celine on El Gordo y La Flaca, it's got an extended clip of Celine meeting Gloria's grandson. Seems the kid is a fan.https://www.univisio...line-dion-video Lili Estafan says that Celine seemed a little more recovered about her mom's death during the second show in Miami, she says Celine is a spectacular woman and that she joked by saying "the skinny girl and the even skinnier girl" on her instagram post but that everyone was taken away by her body musculature. Says she thinks Celine has dedicated herself to having a nutritional and physical regiment that has her looking better than ever. The guy with the beard says Celine has always been like this (skinny) it's just that she wasn't usually dressing sexy or showing off her leg (where has he been? lol). Popular Post Jay718 Posted January 22, 2020 at 06:59 AM Popular Post Posted January 22, 2020 at 06:59 AM Although I didn't see any fights, I did see a kick-#ss Celine Show. I go to through security at the door and scan my ticket...denied entry. I was then sent to the "ticket resolution" window. I have to admit to you all, that I thought I got upgraded or was going to get backstage access. I had a response from Feeling Productions the other day that said...no way possible for a M&G. Honestly, I didn't expect one and was just happy someone responed...but had they had a change of heart? NOPE, it was explained to me that due to the catwalks/stage, my section had to be reconfigured. Ok, whutev they gave me a paper ticket and told me I was in a section over and a couple rows down (I was originally in row F, now row C). I looked at my ticket and saw seat 7. This is where the blood pressure started to rise because I chose and end seat originally so I would have a chance at some access to the catwalk. Anyway, I make my way to the section 113 and go through the club lounge. I am trying to eyeball my seat, but it isn't possible. The attendant tells me I had to go around, but she was not correct...and maybe, just maybe I let off some steam about how my seat is going to suck now. I walk down...and down...and down some more find row C and ask the young gentleman if he is seat 6...he was.....my seat #7 was the end of the aisle and all the seats next to me were covered up. I immediately feel stupid for giving the attendant lip because to the right of me is the end of the catwalk...nothing in-between and in front of me is the right point of the main stage....excitement sets back in. The young man next to me (in his early 20's) was at his very first Celine concert...(Oh how I remember mine about 25 years ago) We make nice and enjoy the dance cam. I see Pepe and in front of us and yell diwn to him. He turned around and a few if us waved...he waved back. IACBTMN starts....crowd goes wild. Charlotte was a great audience and showed Celine what she deserved. Everyone on their feet and great standing O's and cheers. TTWII starts and I tell the young man next to me to follow me. There we are at the stage and Celine singing down to us....we couldn't have been any closer. After she left for the other side, I thanked the security guy for allowing us to get so close. I look back to my new friend and he is shook. He can't believe that he just got so close to Celine. I was so happy for him. Celine did look a little tired (so understandable). Her voice was very string and did a great job with IYAMT. Thr most memorable song for my girlfriend (who is a casual fan) was The Prayer. During a couple of the Standing O's Celine was fighting back tears. I thought she was going to "lose it" at some point but she somehow held it together. I have no real complaints about the setlist...I mean, my throat is sore from screaming and singing, regardless whether she had another song or two from Courage wouldn't change that. If I could wave a magic wand, I would take out BATB and add ANDHC. I would shorten the YTV speech in half and add a song from Courage. I would close with No Boundaries instead of Imagine. Again, as said before- so different in person and I am only thinking about this 3 hours post concert. She had the audience ready to eat out of her hands....we were putty. Elise, Barnev, and Dawn were really good too. Interacting with me and others. Doing hand signals and mouthing words to me and I did it back. They seem to really enjoy a little attention paid their way. For me, my Celine moment was during ABM...as soon as the piano started I told my new friend again to "Let's Go"....I started video and here she came...but I noticed her looking down to me again while singing, so I stopped the video and gave her the heart shape with my hands and said we love you! She mouthed hi and thank you to me...okay heart stopped....then she loved me back to life. I have been a fan of Celine since 1990. I have had some fortune with some Celine moments. I just don't know how to keep creating them....with a little luck we will all get to take pleasure in those small moments. I will try again in Raleigh... I hope Celine and Crew has a nice break. I am sorry for Celine and Family to be going through this difficult time and not being able to have a relaxing break that she deserves. She is such a trooper and this past week has taken a lot of Courage. 18 Quote http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh275/Jay7180/im_13.jpg

That is exactly why I chose a front row seat, the small chance of a brief interaction. I'm a bit worried though, since from the videos I have noticed that she seems to prefer the left side of the stage and my seat is at the right corner. I'm still kicking myself for choosing that spot Quote

Xpresso Posted January 22, 2020 at 12:29 PM Posted January 22, 2020 at 12:29 PM (edited) I would think the fights are mainly about people wanting to stand up and dance in front of others who want to remain seated. Edited January 22, 2020 at 12:29 PM by Xpresso Quote
Tom_London_Fan Posted January 22, 2020 at 12:29 PM Posted January 22, 2020 at 12:29 PM Yes I was at the show that she spoke about on Kimmel. I was two rows ahead of the fight. It was June 2013. I remember it was during ABM. Two couples on a double date together got too drunk and started fighting. She stopped singing and went to chat to Mego until they were removed. It all lasted about 4 mins 3 Quote

Popular Post ehild Posted January 22, 2020 at 02:07 PM Popular Post Posted January 22, 2020 at 02:07 PM I was at the Charlotte last night as well!! I can't even begin to describe how amazing this show was!! We were in section 107 Row M....right by the catwalks/side stage. It was a shorter side stage but that meant she was right in front of us!! And due to the re-configuration, instead of being like the 9th row back (that section starts with C or D I think....) we were much closer. I didn't count but....wow!! Tout Les Blues has been on my bucket list for a while to see live....and it was absolutely amazing!!! That final note!! The whole show, it just flows. I know some gripe about it but when you're there, in the moment, and she's right there....you get over it pretty damn quick! LOL In regards to behavior.....I have to admit I was about ready to fight the guy behind me. I understand when you go to a live show, it's going to be loud. People stand, people yell, they sing, they cheer....it's all part of the atmosphere. You expect that. If that's not your scene, don't go to a live show. That said, the guy behind me clearly had been drinking for quite a while before we even got there. I was there with my daughter....who also loves Celine....her 9th Birthday is Friday the 24th. Not only did he spill a tiny bit of something ON her (not a lot, and it landed on her arm and she wasn't really too bothered by it so I left it alone), but he also knocked over another drink on the floor causing her coat (it was 25 degrees or something outside....) to be sopping wet. Thanfully it was early on in the show and the gentlemen next to us were kind enough to drape it on an empty seat to dry & a lady near us had napkins she could dry herself off. He also continually yelled at her the entire show. Nothing foul, it was all out of love for Celine, but it was evident his "extra" was due to how intoxicated he was. Had he actually spilled something entirely all over her, we might have been one of those fights..... :giggle: #MamaBear But all that aside, we both had a really good time!! She loved the show! We even made it onto the big screen three different times during the DJ part before the show. My daughter is like me and will talk to just about anyone...there was a guy in our section who had a sign "There Was Room For Jack".....he let her hold it for a bit. That's one of the things I love about Celine shows....not only do you get her but most of the fans are just cool like that. I'll upload some pics in a bit. 14 Quote ~Liz"Please don't make your career your life. Let it be your passion, let it bring you pleasure, but don't let it become your identity. CelineDionFreak Posted January 22, 2020 at 03:06 PM Posted January 22, 2020 at 03:06 PM Ok, now I’m having withdrawals She was just so good last night. I miss her this morning! Her energy was top notch, even despite what had happened. The audience was also amazing! During because you loved me, it was just one big karaoke session it felt like! I was in section 104, so a few back from the stage but I was able to see her so closely. During the time when she came out on the arm on ourside I stood up to get video and my mom stood up and held my shoulder. It was a nice moment we’ve been through so much and that song just helped. Also she went to do the “ok here we go sing with me “I’m everything I aaaammmm”.... with the typical finesse and a little run and people went wild! She was like “ok people calm down it really isn’t that hard.” “I’m everything I am- ok now your turn” And imagine! It just works for the closer. People know and love the song. I really don’t think perfect goodbye would fit as well there. People loved the closer just the way it was in Charlotte. Oh Celine, you were simply the best ever 4 Quote I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!Le temps qui compte pour Celine est maintenant!
