Courage World Tour - EU shows CANCELED

"Baby", "Look at Us Now", "Change My Mind" and "Perfect Goodbye" all deserve a place on this tour setlist. Of course since "Courage" itself isn't even on the COURAGE Tour, I'm not holding my breath.

 

Courage is included in the set list, along with Lying Down though.

Well, quite frankly, I don’t think that any of these songs are so mindblowing that they should replace the current songs, with the exception of the medley. This medley can be entirely replaced by the better new songs.

But I honestly prefer to hear To Love You More when I see her than one of these new numbers... Lying Down and Flying on my own are ok though.

I can’t understand that. Like we have 20 new songs. Some of them are really interesting and out of the box and you prefer hearing a playback of TLYM bb for a world tour being named after the album.

It's okay. I agree with you. After listening to the new album, I must admit I am so dissapointed in this new tour. So many modern uptempo songs, and she is singing Beauty and the Beast and old farts' covers :cry:

I have listened to the new album as well. I like Flying Own My Own, Courage, Lying Down, and Imperfections. The rest are super meh.

 

I’m not like a lot of you guys on here, though. I generally dislike her music (all of it). I love her voice, though, so I actually prefer covers. A lot of you are hating on the medley, but I want a full performance of “Let’s Dance”. The original (and anything by Bowie) is simply intolerable to me but I love the bit she sings.

 

I’ve seen her in Louisville, and I’m seeing her in Jacksonville and Atlanta. Thinking about picking up tickets for Charlotte.. think I should wait? Prices seem stupid right now.

Celine knows for sure. But the general public has no idea just yet. It might come to their ears soon though. That's why Sony should consider releasing the album earlier. And I doubt this will lead to any setlist changes. Edited November 3, 2019 at 10:42 PM by Xpresso

This tour is even weirder now that I listened to the album. We have Courage Celine’s album and the Courage Tour. Same title but two different artists 😌😏 that s crazy to realize such a modern album filled with modern pop but also a lot of Indie vintage vibes and launch a world Tour with the same name and with a set list glued in the 90’s with dated orchestral and boys band sound.

 

I wonder if they leaked it to get an idea of what songs the fans like the best...

I just got back from her milwaukee show and the difference between tonight and Friday in Minneapolis was huge. The audience’s energy really seems to dictate how well she performs. On Friday (and maybe it’s because it was the start of the weekend) her voice was incredible—it was a huge reassurance that she’s still got it since her voice in québec was a bit pitchy. I’m kind of reluctant to buy tickets for another show in the states because the crowd just doesn’t compare to montréal. It was crazy to me how most of the floor audience was seated almost all of the show. Is this how it normally is in the u.s.? Got home tonight from the Milwaukee show! Celine was phenomenal, and being so close (3rd row, center section) was a real treat. I was sad she didn't perform "Lying Down" but I will say something happened tonight that I didn't expect. I used to hate "You're the Voice" with a passion, but tonight, my mind was changed, and I actually was singing along! Haha.

 

As a side note, Celine didn't start until about 8:20, so I'm wondering if that's why "Lying Down" was cut. Not sure what was going on and no explanation was offered.

I really don't understand how they decided this. I can see why they brought all the hits, but would never understand why only 2 songs from the new album... So cutting one of them is like: why oh why?! Actually, she already cut FOMO too certainly as she is calling the tour "courage, is supposed to be promoting it, uses the scenes from Imperfection video, etc. Can anyone from Team Celine give us an explanation?! Ahahhaha

There's no way she's singing Change My Mind live during this tour. Unless she'll use a playback. Those insane notes at the end simply just can't be replicated live! Hahaha 🤪
