smw Posted October 5, 2019 at 06:04 PM Posted October 5, 2019 at 06:04 PM How many shows did she cancel? I hope she gets better soon. I don't think any were canceled. Just rescheduled. Fingers crossed she feels better very soon and the shows start going smoothly again! Quote
scielle Posted October 5, 2019 at 06:08 PM Posted October 5, 2019 at 06:08 PM How many shows did she cancel? I hope she gets better soon. 6 - all the ones slated form Montreal (rescheduled for Nov & Feb). Too bad, because those are always so important for her. She must be gutted (on top of feeling guilty). AdrienneM Posted October 5, 2019 at 09:03 PM Posted October 5, 2019 at 09:03 PM I really have missed her these few days, I really hope shes back to Queen Celine for Ottawa and onwards, she seemed very upset and i think she’s taking this seriously and the reason she cancelled these shows wasnt JUST that she was still recovering, she absolutely was, but she also knew these two shows would push her too hard just off of a throat virus... it wouldve been idiocy to do the shows even if she did feel great after feeling crappy the day before.. its not safe 1 Quote
wjd Posted October 5, 2019 at 09:10 PM Posted October 5, 2019 at 09:10 PM I hope and pray that she is stopping shows after London so she can take a few weeks/months off before she starts on the rest of the world. It's already a marathon of shows as it is, so I hope she rests before going to Asia! Why does she need a few months off!? Elton John is currently touring with as demanding a schedule as Celine has and he's 72... 5 Quote Céline Dion, music's greatest ever singer, the biggest-selling Canadian artist of all-time and most successful female live act ever - what's not to love?
cdfan32 Posted October 5, 2019 at 09:35 PM Posted October 5, 2019 at 09:35 PM cdfan32 don't give up , I recommend that you go and see ,Notre-Dame - Basilica, Rene's graves site , go and pay tribute to him, Go to Her Moms foundation , there is so much to do, I did go to the Basilica today. It was beautiful... then outside the violinist started playing MHWGO. 2 Quote

I see still quite many tix available in quite a number of cities. I guess many people are waiting to closer to the dates, and price usually get way lower then. Quote

Bruno Portugal Posted October 6, 2019 at 10:17 AM Posted October 6, 2019 at 10:17 AM This tour is going to be huge! There may still be a possibility to schedule a concert in Portugal and another in Spain.Does anyone know if the management of Sony Music in the Iberian Peninsula is common? I remember a few years ago want to merge Sony Music Portugal and Spain into one. This apathy towards Celine here surprises me. I emailed a contact at Sony and unlike previous years nobody answered me. I am sad because I feel it is her last chance to perform in Portugal with a great production and a beautiful album. AdrienneM Posted October 6, 2019 at 10:36 AM Posted October 6, 2019 at 10:36 AM Apparently (or so it seems on the site) Celines show in Lucca is sold out! And the shows produced their normally hold around 20,000+ Quote
wjd Posted October 6, 2019 at 11:10 AM Posted October 6, 2019 at 11:10 AM Nor does he dance around the stage the way Celine does. Absolutely, her on point choreography is something to behold... The nuts and bolts of a tour like this are the travel and the impact on the voice from over singing - given she sings most songs in a lower key than they were recorded, lips a portion of every show and she mixes registers more than ever before, this ultimately comes down to is she capable of doing a tour on this scale. And if a 72 year old man who’s performed thousands of shows over the course of his career can, then so can Celine who’s more than 20 years his junior. Popular Post AdrienneM Posted October 6, 2019 at 11:29 AM Popular Post Posted October 6, 2019 at 11:29 AM Both Poland shows are completely sold out! Zurich nearly completely gone Floriana show almost all the tickets were sold out completely in pre sale alone Tickets in almost every section for Stockholm, but in each section there are barely any tickets available- which is incredible as this show is so far her biggest single night show Both Norway shows gone completely Both Dublin shows sold out in under an hour Both Glasgow dates have only 200-ish tickets left This Europe leg has been insane in terms of demand 8 Quote

scielle Posted October 6, 2019 at 12:26 PM Posted October 6, 2019 at 12:26 PM So new dates in Israel and Manchester now... this tour is going to be massive! I wouldn't be surprised if she went back to some places at the end if it was to difficult to squeeze in additional dates into the current schedule. (e.g. Elton's Yellow Brick Road tour was here in NYC in fall 2018, back in spring 2019, and looks like it's now coming back in April 2020... the never-ending farewell! - looks like it's up to 230 shows so far!) I also wouldn't be surprised if she was completely burnt out once this is over. 1 Quote
ordinary fan Posted October 6, 2019 at 12:28 PM Posted October 6, 2019 at 12:28 PM do you think after the other parts after europe are finished (likewise asia, australia, africa, south america) she could come back to europe to do stadiums like in the FIY tour, when the tour was 96 and she came back 97. 1 Quote
Shaun Posted October 6, 2019 at 01:46 PM Posted October 6, 2019 at 01:46 PM Demand will surely spike for tickets again when the new album is released. More dates may be released then. 3 Quote Bringing you the world's only Celine Dion podcast show since 2014.Find us on Soundcloud, Apple Podcasts, Spotify & Amazon Music.
guigafs15 Posted October 6, 2019 at 03:12 PM Posted October 6, 2019 at 03:12 PM What I really want to know is what's the problem Celine have with Latin America? We're never in. It's about time. Plus, a little promotion here would really help her streaming numbers, since Latin America is pretty strong on streaming platforms. 1 Quote
