The concert may ged cancelled or your flight may get cancelled, or you may get the flu, either way you risk loosing money and not enjoying yourself. That's life. Come on yourself. She knew she was sick. Surely she or her doctor had a sense that she wasn't recovering in time. The fact that the cancellation came with less than 24 hours, and I don't care how many times she's been known to do it, that part is extremely unprofessional. It left me with no choice but to either eat the hotel cost which was already unavailable to cancel with less than 24 hrs before check-in time, or go anyway. Had I had 48 hours notice I could just have stayed in NYC for another 2 days instead and seen Madonna again, who was fantastic by the way. When people cancel, they generally give advance notice, especially when Celine is doing 6 shows in Montreal because she knows a lot of the demand comes from out of town fans who wanted to see her in her home. Montreal may be nice, but it isn't what I planned to spend either my vacation time or money doing. It was never on my bucket list as just a destination. For those who keep going on about how people don't feel bad for Celine, people are here expressing their disappointment over the situation on a discussion forum. I'm not saying these things to Celine's face or on her social media. I feel bad for her, but I feel the way she has handled the situation is very unprofessional given what she knew of her health situation. I'm not able to take either the time to go to Montreal again in the dead of winter in February 2020 or waste more money either on a repeat trip, so I won't be bothering to see her on this tour is all. 1 Quote

He was miserable for a few days, but by Tuesday he was almost 100%. Yesterday I picked him up from school and out of nowhere his sore throat had returned and WAY worse. He could hardly swallow. It was so bad that we took him into the doctor. Luckily it's not strep, but definitely a bad bug which he was almost recovered from and then randomly started up with again. Today he had to stay home from school. Doc said this weird junk is just going around right now and he should be good again in another few days. Something like this could have easily happened with Celine. We will never have all the answers, but I trust her team is trying to make the best decisions for everyone involved.
