Céline RO Posted October 4, 2019 at 03:58 PM Posted October 4, 2019 at 03:58 PM I think the twins will be with her in Europe. No way is she gonna miss them that long. Travelling back and forth doesn't seem feasible. From the end of May until the end of July, most concerts are only 1 or 2 hour flights away from Paris, so I think Paris is gonna have another "Summer of Céline" 😊 Why would she take her kids with her to Europe and have them stay in Paris again. Why not take them on a tour of Europe (though she’s probably done that already)? I do agree that it’s easier for her to be based in Europe for those months but I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if she did go back and forth between Vegas and Europe. What better way to spend her millions than hundreds of private jet flights? Also, while we’re on this subject, did I hear correctly when she said that she and René-Charles did a tour of the world together, presumably this summer? 1 Quote The best is yet to come...

noyau Posted October 4, 2019 at 04:01 PM Posted October 4, 2019 at 04:01 PM Because it's a festival, Celine's not a single act, so the sales go differently. It's the same with Calahaix. Actually on Céline's website it's written that the tickets should be on sale 10/04 at 10... strange. Quote ***I speak French, sorry for my mistakes in English. I would be very happy if you write me a private message to tell me when I make mistakes, as I want to improve my English***

But in all seriousness, I'm sure they'll be with her for the summer in Europe. I didn't hear the bit about her and RC. If that's true, how sweet! Quote ~Liz"Please don't make your career your life. Céline RO Posted October 4, 2019 at 04:02 PM Posted October 4, 2019 at 04:02 PM (edited) She was also in her early 30's when she started this venture....20-years younger than she is now. Granted, she still has a lot of stamina and she's used to grueling show schedules, etc. but I think we can all agree that as we age, things change, which is why when she came back she only committed to do a certain # of shows and wanted nothing to do w/that kind of schedule again. But Céline, and her team, did say that she’s never been in a better shape or more fit. So I’m pretty sure she’s more able both physically and mentally now than she was 20 years ago. Voice condition and strain is a completely different matter. You have to exercise and rest those muscles differently than you would the rest of the body. And she's prone to throat, sinus infections, etc. which can also affect the voice; thus possibly affecting shows. It's a whole complex system. Quote ~Liz"Please don't make your career your life. jepoi Posted October 4, 2019 at 04:24 PM Posted October 4, 2019 at 04:24 PM In my opinion, at the end of the day, it will all be celine's decision. Like what she always emphasizes in every interview, she's the boss. Pretty sure, it's her who decides the locations and their dates. I just wish, if she really intends to do these massive tour, that she really commits herself to this 100% and not do this half-heartedly. Because no matter how we defend celine, the fact remains that it's not ok to cancel shows. Quote

jepoi Posted October 4, 2019 at 05:13 PM Posted October 4, 2019 at 05:13 PM Pls dont get me wrong. You don't need to yell at me. That's why i said she has to commit to this world tour. By that i mean she has to take really good care of her health so she does not have to cancel any date. That's just my opinion. Are you for real?! She cancelled because she's sick! Quote
AdrienneM Posted October 4, 2019 at 05:18 PM Posted October 4, 2019 at 05:18 PM She really shouldve done stadiums this time, reduces her amount of shows and maximises the amount of fans who can see her 4 Quote

Lookin at you 3rd Brooklyn date 👀 After all, who cares if it’s 90% or 100%? In my opinion, the 3rd New York City date was necessary if they decided to add it. If 40000 people wanted to go to the shows and only 30000 could, a 3rd shows was needed. The objective is giving fans what they want, not necessarily selling out. Quote The best is yet to come...

Lots of training? Did you HEAR how she sounded from 2003-2005 ? Even 2006 or 2007, she was in her late 30s and then the TCWT she was 40-41... Vocals could be the only issue for this tour, as shes in the best physical state of her life. Even so, i dont think she could ever sound as thin, nasal and whingey as 2003 Edited October 4, 2019 at 06:19 PM by AdrienneM 2 Quote

Lol I think she’s more experienced a vocalist now than she was then, and as she explained before (in her latest Larry King interview, i think it was) she knows how to “sing over” or sing around certain kinds of illness and throat problems. Clearly though, that method isn’t 100% guaranteed (see: opening night). I’m just wondering when the playback begins... 1 Quote

ordinary fan Posted October 4, 2019 at 07:56 PM Posted October 4, 2019 at 07:56 PM just got two tickets for munich june 17th 2020 can't come fast enough although it seems a bit odd being excited while feeling worried about Celine, but I'm sure everything will be fine 2 Quote
RosieBarron Posted October 4, 2019 at 08:05 PM Posted October 4, 2019 at 08:05 PM I have only just watched Celine's video. Firstly, I am pleased to see that she seems well enough, even if she is not fully better. As someone personally affected by the cancellations, I do believe this is worse for her! The video was unusually long though and kind of reminded me of a hostage video. That said the unedited nature of it felt very genuine. 3 Quote
