Can't ppl out there be more respectful and think before they type those words? The other day I was watching THE VIEW and they were talking about the same sex kiss during the Macys Day Parade. The hosts were talking about all the ultra conservative folks who were APPALLED and said something like "the lives of millions of innocent children are now ruined". The hosts mostly agreed to not give folks like that the time of day. There's just no winning with those kinds of people. Interestingly the two conservative hosts on the show came to the defense of the same sex kiss more than anybody!

Seans Hayes (from Will and Grace) was also a guest on the show and they asked him about it too. He said he doesn't even give folks like that the time of day anymore. "Do we have any energy anymore for the BACKLASH PEOPLE??" I'm sure he put up with some CRAZY STUFF from ultra conservatives back when Will & Grace first aired. This immediately made me think of Celine's partnership with NUNUNU. We aren't all going to agree but there's a lesson to learn: "Why give the backlash people any time at all?" It gives them more power than they deserve, and it's not helping anybody.

Evidently you missed the pretext in which I was speaking. I made a general statement that male and female are dictated by which sexual gland you were born with. That is the context in which the reference to gender was made, but nice attempt in trying to make it about something else.

And yes, it is known that people can have intersex conditions, whose sexual organs are not considered male or female, which is a medical issue, and not within the scope of the discussion.

In contrast, people who are transgendered, are not intersexed and do not have a physical condition.

A member tried to throw around the transphobic label in relation to an opinion on a clothing line, no less.

Quite unsuccessfully I might add. Be careful when throwing around labels. Biology isn't transphobic. It just is.

All you have to say is “Satanic clothing” and “biology dictates” gender. If you have to separate people who just want the right thing and speak up for equality, by condescendingly calling them Social Justice Warriors, that speaks miles.
