I like the motive with this project, and completely get what Celine is trying to achieve. But I must say, this project is so badly timed. She’s getting a lot of bad PR....sensational claims of course. Demonic, Illuminati, Satanic...this is the worst possible timing since she’s due to release her next English language album next year.

 

Google ‘Celine Dion News’ it’s full of this, her publicist needs to release a status or she needs to do a follow up interview...this is not being viewed positively. The message is getting lost. This should have waited until after the album, this is not the time to alienate potential fans and supporters.

I completely agree. I went on the website today and browsed thru the clothing. Its not cute. Kinda cringeworthy.

 

Also, correct me if i am wrong...but prices seem very high for basically just kids pajamas and what not. There's moms out there im sure who won't spend 60 on a shirt for themselves let alone a growing child who will be out of size next year.

This won't hurt Celine's image in any way, first because the majority of people don't know this even exists and second because there is not bad press at all outside America. Unlike others (Mariah, Christina...), Celine has an international appeal, so even if this somehow hurts her sales in USA (it won't) she will do fine, LMBTL flopped in USA, but this didn't stop it to be the third best selling album by a female that year only behind Katy Perry and Ariana Grande if I'm not wrong.

It makes me like a broken record, but I'll say it again, skull and black color is not new for kids or baby, it's not revolutioner. And although all celinununu is only black and white, is doesn't mean you have to buy all the clothes and dress your kids with celinununu, just like when you wear a pair of dress from Zara or H&M, it doesn't mean you have to or you wear only zara, we choose what we like from every brand. Just becauase you don't like zara it doesn't mean you have to burn down the store. It's only an option. If you don't like the design or the price, it's mean it's not for you. Can you be more delusional you? How many more negative press do you want to see about it? Have you ever seen such hail of bad critics raining on her in the last 15 years??? Because I've never seen such bad press on her since 2005 with the Live 8 event when she decided to participate via satellite from her Vegas show and she was booed for not being present on the stage with the rest of artists.

Ever since this line was launched I do not understand why all this uproar of negative criticism, skulls in the clothes, what the problem, I already saw several clothes with skulls and ropupas of black color, until today I do not understand why to be disturbed with the word "new order", nothing much, they gave an interview to clarify the imprenssa and religious fanatic people are making it a tornado that only spreads with negative things.

I really hope this ends, that these negative reviews are over and it does not affect Celine or her US sales.

I actually found fox to be rather respectful toward her. They dragged the idea without really dragging celine too. I was worried it was going to be dragging her but it wasn't.

 

With cher or madonna, i know not only would the idea be dragged but cher and madonna themselves too. They did mention celine's name, but only like once. And they didn't even say "just stick to singing" so in all honesty i thought they were easy on her.

It’s not about whether or not a young infant knows what they want to be. It’s about parents not pushing societal norms on them and forcing them to be what the world believes they should be. Rather, dress them in a neutral way which would allow for them to later make the choice of who they feel they are, without having gender norms forced upon them and being told who they have to be.
