I understand her viewpoint, but I think this was an unwise business decision. I don't believe it will ultimately hurt her music in any way....she is too rich and too talented. But I still feel it was unwise. She could have chosen another company or made up her own clothing line!

It’s so funny to see this new era when Celine doesn’t play it safe, and starts up Controversy.

 

I personally never liked this idea but it has nothing to do with the initial goal and more to do with the actual designs of the line. To me it’s just creepy and just plain ugly clothing, but hey people if you wanna dress your clothes in skulls and the words “new order”, more power to ya!

 

So good intent and bad execution in my opinion, I would’ve liked her teaming up with a company like Macy’s or Kohl’s, like others have done in the past to push this idea of gender neautral, the nunununu brand she choose to partner with not only is creepy to me but insanely expensive. The other route may have had better designs at an affordable price as well.

I just watched a video of this illuminati conspiracist that went to a Nununu store (I think it was somewhere in the UK). The guy interviewed a worker and a customer, clearly trying to get something "incriminating", and was really focused on the fact some manaquins had cubes in place of heads (because I guess a headless manaquin like we see in some stores is more acceptable). The employee answered his questions about the goal of the designs, just as we have heard from Celine, and seemed to really beleive in the cause, they got into a very small debate. She also mentioned some of the new robot designs being inspired by some sculpt artist (the guy ofc gave it an "evil" spin).

He wasn't rude in any way to the women he spoke to but I'm starting to get a little worried. Not because I think Celine has done something wrong but because the negative response she is getting comes from people who are largely homophobic and intense, and in the times we are in, I am starting to worry of some crazy person looking at this and deciding to do something hateful and violent against Celine.

The recent news articles are all very tongue in cheek and making fun of the accusations that 'Celine is working with the Devil'.

 

Good riddance to all those weirdos who proclaimed to be fans but aren't open-minded and tolerant.

 

I don't like the clothes at all and wouldn't dress my child (if I had one) in them - I do however like that Celine is taking a stance and love the video and all these articles are proof that people still care about what she does. She is powerful now.

 

Also, Kanye West for example is very divisive- 'Donald Trump is like a father figure to me'....he is (in my opinion) a complete nut-job, but he doesn't care what people think. Neither should she. Stand your ground Celine.

I’m sorry but I don’t want celine to be in the same category with donald trump or kanye,to be honest people have a point in what they are criticizing , i mean i love the commercial but the idea or the clothing line are a little bit wierd to me, the video goes well with an action movie ,the whole thing has nothing to do with children,second of all it is frightening a litte bit especially the 2 ladies the owners of the brand are really scary,the way they are talking is so aggressive,i know that celine intended to make a good message but she has to apologize that she chose the wrong people or company .
