Was I the only one who thought that It’s All Coming Back To Me Now “HD remaster” a few years ago was terrible? And today, with the Misled HD remaster looking so good, why couldn’t the IACBTMN remaster have been better? The TLDH remaster last year looked good too, but the Contre Nature remaster looks horrible, lol. Or am I alone in these thoughts? Lol

I think it’s because IACBTMN was one of the first ever videos they remastered (the very first video to get remastered is PQTME i believe) so it was like a first try for them, and as a first try, of course improvements are needed in some aspects. But they did made a good improvement on remastering the Misled video. Still can’t forgive them for what they did to Contre nature video though. I hope the rest of the videos from TCOML would get remaster visually as good as Misled.

I do hope the rest of the TCOML videos turn out nicely, but I feel like they must have hired a company or someone to remaster them. I’m not sure it’s something they would have specialized knowledge of how to do? Eventually, I hope all her videos get the 4K treatment lol

Depends on whether they go back to the original negatives and scan them for the remaster or they simply upscale the SD version to HD. The MHWGO was scanned in 4K HD that's why it looks flawless whereas other videos like IACBTMN is a simple upscale.

Yeah, I was aware of that too. Which is what they probably did for Contre Nature as well. But I wonder what makes them decide which videos to remaster properly, as Misled looks great and was a much smaller hit than It’s All Coming Back To Me Now. It makes no sense, lol.

I know that movies with Sci-Fi effects cause problems when it comes to remastering. IACBTMN has a ghost and other special effects like the mirror scene where Celine spins that either have to be redone in HD or upscaled. So they went the lazy route and upscaled the whole music video. Misled has minimal video processing effects (slow down effect and flashes) but no Sci-fi so it's easier to remaster in HD.

I happened to be looking at Lara Fabian’s Spotify profile, and although I like her, the blatant lie made me laugh. They said her self-titled English album was a huge success in the U.S. and went to #1. It peaked at #85, lol. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Yes I did see the announcement about the Documentary. But I thought it was kind of odd that there is no release date of the documentary mentioned. At least I did not see any date mentioned. & I have read quite a few articles that mentioned the name of it, but no release date, which sorry but I find that odd to announce it, but not mention when it will be released. Yes I have given up hopes of a comeback as well. Now ok, that DOES NOT mean that I don't wish for a comeback from Celine like everybody else does, of course I do! I have never gotten to see her in concert, & I wish I could see her in person for myself, & not just from a few random YouTube videos recorded by other fans from their cell phones.

 

But what some of the fan base seem to not want to deal with (& I can see that here in this forum, as a couple of fans are totally bent out of shape over those of us who are not going along with the "Celine is going to make a comeback any day now" bandwagon, & instead trying to live in REALITY,) is that Celine is now dealing with a very PROGRESSIVE & INCURABLE ILLNESS, it is really not like dealing with "the flu or common cold" like some fans think it is. Some fans are in complete DENIAL of Celine's situation right now, & I really DO understand it can be hard to accept this situation. But unfortunately we all have to accept it. & some people, like on this forum **ahem ahem cough cough**, need to not be rude & mean to those of us who are accepting the situation & choosing to face it instead of denying it (which will do NOTHING to change it by denying it.)

Wow I did not know there were such a HIGH level of just pure DENIAL on this forum! I need to figure out how to put emoticons on this forum, because some of you alls posts need a 'jaw dropping' emoticon because some of you all are in such DEEP DENIAL of this whole situation of Celine & her health battles with SPS right now!

 

I understand it can hard for us to accept things as they are now, but we really have no choice but to accept it! Denying it will NOT CHANGE anything! Just as making up rumors of supposed "comebacks" during the past few years will not change anything either! I never said that I claim to know Celine personally, unlike some of these other fans out there on social media (& apparently a few of them are also on this forum,) who constantly claim they "know Celine & her family/team members/band members/crew, etc personally" & that they have "personal connections & inside information about Celine making an announcement of a 'BIG COMEBACK', a new residency, new tour, new album, etc... that will be happening 'any day now', & blah blah blah".

 

& to me it is all full of HOT AIR! Because during g the past 2 years, there have been so many predictions that none of them have come true, have they? Nope they sure didnt, we are in the same boat as we have been for the past 2 years!

 

& yes I did call it plain DENIAL because some of you think the SPS issues Celine has been dealing with is just a minor flu bug or a cold or something, & that "she will just magically wake up one day magically cured from SPS" & that "she will be magically be the same exact person she was a few years back before all this happened". I mean, hello do you all remember that she had just CANCELLED her whole tour last year?! & it is obviously because of her health is why she had to cancel everything. & some of you all are REALLY believing that she is going to make this big comeback & do a new residency, tour, new album, etc... Then some of you all are going all over social media spreading these rumors to the rest of the world as if the rumors were the truth! & other fans are getting false hope by believing in these rumors!

 

I am not saying to lose hope, yes I have hope as well... But you all need to STOP spreading rumors about things that we have NO CONFIRMATIONS ABOUT! Unless Celine or her team, or Resorts World, or anybody else who ACTUALLY knows & works with Celine personally, makes an actual announcement of a new residency, tour, album, whatever, then we have NO PROOF WHATSOEVER of any comebacks & should not be spreading rumors over the internet.

 

& I am NOT just talking about you, I am talking about all the fans who have been spreading the rumors as well.
