Great questions indeed, and I like how she mostly answers them directly instead of going all over the place.

 

I would love if they took us more behind the scenes, and she would explain more why they make certain choices.

 

As for all the songs she recorded, I really hope that they would be more creative with releasing them. An EP, or yeah why not a full album with leftovers. :wub:

I don't know how I missed this interview. It's excellent. She says there's still some songs from Courage that she wanted to release and that nothing should prevent her from putting out a single after an album. I wish it happened that way.

 

This interviewer asked excellent questions about her music. Loved it

I guess so, there was a time we had a look on how many albums she was contracted for.

But these days? Who knows?

 

My guess is that she wants to release a French one. It was always like that.

 

But why Sony is not releasing an EP or whatever while Celine wants the songs to be heard is beyond me.

 

Anyway while we talking albums, why they NEVER EVER released an bilingual album?

Though they are completely 2 different Celine's, if worked out properly it could definitely work.

 

 

Wouldn't you think that contractually Sony would have expected her to release something in the near future?

New music for Love Again is on the way…. I wonder when and how it will be released. And if there will be any music videos.

I really think the "Love Again" soundtrack will be like a "leftover album" from "Courage" mixed with some of her greatest hits ;)

but for sure, we can expect songs like "It's All Coming Back to Me Now", "(Falling In) Love Again" and "Courage" to be part of the tracklist ;) :wub:

Can I say that Céline is brave and we don't talk about it as much as we should. Being the greatest singer, it's obvious to be put under spotlight. But she gets criticized.

How when she was trying to get pregnant, we can see so many magazine and few interviews talking about it. She even mentions in the Carpool Kareoke that her baby was in television even before he was in the hands of his mother.

 

And for last few years, she has been kept under the spotlight for her weight. So closely scrutinized for her aging. Like why? They don't do the same with rest of the singers who are at her league. And the public doesn't quite see how Céline might feel. Her facts, her body is micro analyzed by the public.

 

First it was her supposed "demonic" clothing line, then her weight, now her illness. I mean, after losing her father, René, her brother, her mother, what else do you want her to suffer from? People are bad.

Off-topic, but I have my tickets for Madonna in Paris, at Accor Arena, where Celine used to sing for so many years. I am not that happy, becuase I wanted to see Celine this year, but the concert was cancelled. I hope she is fine, she is so missed. Edited by george_matei

I am surprised about the parfumes though. They were there for a looong time, there were many of them and they were really successful worldwide

Yeah I don't think it's a problem of promotion, but more Céline loosing interest in these projects after a while. She is always full enthusiasm, but a year later, it's like she forgot she ever had it.

 

The perfumes are a big shame though. I think they were very popular and sold pretty good and solid. IMO there were too many different variations. They should have focused more on making Celine Dion Perfum a timeless and staple fragrance.

 

At least we got loads of promotional material and free cd samplers from them :wub2:

At one point we got waaay to many perfumes that smelled like each other.

 

Stand outs were the first one, Belong, Night In Paris, Memento.

Bags were a disappointment.

 

Celine lacks interest which could be the reason for downfall of her bags, perfumes and even some of her albums
