The sound during these performances was horrible and so amateur. It’s literally like her microphone was on on and she sang to a playback track that played somewhere in the background. It sounds like amateur karaoke. The sound was messed up big time here.

Who is this "official biographer" Elisabeth Reynaud who is doing al lthis talking about Celine on talk shows?

 

All the gossip about her over the last year seems to go through TPMP People...

She’s as much an “official biographer” as you and I…

For some reason TPMP and other tabloids keep platforming her, and now this other woman, tabloid writer Laurence Pieau, who just released another Céline bio (shamelessly subtitled “true” story, because, you know, where else are you going to find Céline’s true story if not in Closer and Telestar and the like). 🙄

For some reason TPMP and other tabloids keep platforming her, and now this other woman, tabloid writer Laurence Pieau, who just released another Céline bio (shamelessly subtitled "true" story, because, you know, where else are you going to find Céline's true story if not in Closer and Telestar and the like).

 

So what is the public perception of TPMP? I've never been clear...is it basically considered by its watchers to be a gossip show filled with unverified stories? On Twitter, TPMP seems to get a lot of engagement, so if I search for Celine tweets it will often appear.

 

Also can someone translate "dame de joie" -- is that a str*pper or prost*t*te? :wacko:

He’s long had a thing for Celine it seems (not romantic… at least I hope not) but over the years he’s made many a comment about her and tried to get her to sing at the inauguration- which she rightly turned down

Why does this feel so creepy . Why did they feel the need to mention these pictures found of Celine? Are they paparazzi pictures that he payed for? Pictures he had printed from the internet? Is she alone? I have so many questions lol.

 

This is the last type of media attention I expected Celine to get XD

 

I'd imagine it's from one of the few times they met back in the 90s. But whatever the case, it definitely sounds creepy, especially how the tweets and news articles are worded — although I suspect Celine is only mentioned to increase clicks and basically stir the pot. We'll probably never know what the photos are, unless they're (for some reason) presented in court as evidence or otherwise publicly revealed :shrug:

His lawyer is just using a Celine photo to try dismiss a FBI investigation. That is pretty much all he can do as Trump is indeed a criminal. They mingled irrelevant material (as a picture of Celine) with important documents to mislead whoever look into it. So, the FBI took it all.

 

Now, why this creepo has a picture of Celine, that is a good question. If I was her, I would be concerned.

Well there was that time she and Rene hired the chef Trump fired from Mar-a-Lago... If you missed the story, I've posted about it here and here.

 

Basically, Trump fired the guy as he didn't like his salad. And "a few days later, the chef was hired by Celine Dion and her husband, René Angélil, and cooked for them for two years — including his signature Caesar, which they called “the Trump salad.”'

 

The chef then sued Trump for age discrimination, and Celine & Rene gave videotaped depositions in the case.

A singer named Jeanick Fournier won Canada's Got Talent. Apparently she's known in Quebec for her shows of Céline covers. Here she is with I Surrender -

I don't follow these things but think she may have sang other Céline songs through the show. Apparently she learned English in part through listening to Celine's music (kinda how I learned French!) ��

 

Jeanick Fournier was on CBC's Q yesterday. Lots of Celine content in the conversation, of course. She sang a bit of TTWII with Tom and mentioned meeting Celine for a meet-and-greet. Also includes a clip of her singing S'il suffisait d'aimer for her patients (she's a palliative nurse).
