That's not a bootleg, that was a profesional recording of an event that many famous artists get professionally recorded for them. Whitney was in Brunei just the year before.

 

 

You don't think it's strange that from 85 - 95, a whole year of her touring life is basically missing outside of official releases?

 

I did not say that the private event was a bootleg. I just included it for you to know that we’re more lucky to see those kind of private concerts unlike others…

 

Nope. But i would be glad if there’s an official release in all of her tours in that era if none. I will still enjoy the ff

1993 - COML home video

 

1994 - L’Olympia (too bad it was cancelled - maybe because it has the same style as the released COML home video?)

 

1995 - Live a Paris

 

1996 - FIY

 

1997 - Live in Memphis

 

1999 - Au Coeur Du Stade & Millenium Concert

I’m not sure when was the jones beach bootleg leaked but I first saw it in 2010sss… yeah.

 

Well, comparing it to the lambs as i have said before we have bootlegs even in the 90’s we even have the private concerts in 90s.

 

In this era. 1 year = 10 years.

 

Sorry I am NOT trying to be mean... But the math is wrong... 2010 was actually 11 YEARS ago... Soon to be 12 years ago since we are almost into 2022 lol...

 

Yea like "Pura Vida" has said, it has been A VERY LONG TIME since we have had concert footage of Celines older tours (from the beginning of her career all the way to the 90s! & we DONT even have much of the footage online of her first vegas show, "A New Day", & she was there for 5 YEARS, & did what, 700+ shows... I think that is also ridicolous!) I understand the lack of technology from 10, 15, 20, & 30 years ago & all... But with todays technology, you would think that Celines own TEAM could even TRY to get some of the old footage from her concerts digitally upgraded & added to Youtube (or maybe even other streaming services as well such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, etc where concerts are VERY MUCH IN DEMAND these days!) But instead, the foitage just sit in the Sony Vaults for eternity gathering dust... 😣🙄

Yea but most of those have ONLY VHS &/OR DVD RELEASES & ARE NOT ONLINE (& some of the concerts you listed, such as "Millenium Concert" & "L'Olympia Concert", HAVE NEVER BEEN RELEASED!) & the video tapes/DVDS of the ones that have been released are also VERY hard to find nowadays as they are NOT AVAILABLE in stores (@ least NOT where I live @, & also NOT on the internet/streaming services such as Amazon, I-Tunes, Youtube, Netflix, etc...) So not many fans, INCLUDING MYSELF, have copies of these old concerts, & only the ones who were VERY LUCKY to get hold of the videos/DVDs from long ago have been able to watch them (as well as the fans who were able to attend those shows back in the day...

 

Unfortunately, I did not get to as I was a kid in the 80s & 90s, & Celine has never performed anywhere near me in Maryland back then, not @ least since I became a fan of Celines in the mid 90s! That is why I want the Washington DC show from the "Courage World Tour" to happen so that I can finally go to my VERY FIRST celine show! 😔🙏

It may not be released officially in DVD/VHS but still it’s available on YouTube and we can watch it in full compared to none :)

Well nowadays we get a ton of bootlegs and no official releases lol. I do find it strange that there are pretty much no bootlegs at all pre-1996 and then suddenly we get surprisingly many from 1996-1999.

I doubt it.

I hope she's well enough to celebrate Halloween with the kids, but she never wants to be seen doing something frivolous when she's been cancelling shows. She's usually very careful about that.

I like the fact that TC is more active this week, and isn't thinking the way they usually do. It's also nice they are not stopping to post just because Celine is not well these days. This makes the situation easier for us.

 

Btw, I like the recent reel they posted on Instagram.

speaking of Instagram. I recently asked on this forum if I could sign up for Instagram on my desktop computer without the App and was told that I could. I signed up shortly after that, but had trouble signing up with the security code that was sent to my email. It wouldn't work, so after a few failed attempts, Instagram wanted me to give my cellphone number to send a code. I provided my cell number even though I didn't really want to and was given a different code then the one that was sent in the email. It seemed to work, because Instagram had a message afterwards saying that I had to wait 24 hours before logging in so that they could verify my account.

 

I waited a day or two and then I tried signing into Instagram and got a message saying that my account had been disabled for violating there terms. I don't know what I did wrong? Now I can't even log in to change anything or start over again because my account has been disabled and won't let me log in. If anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it as I am absolutely horrible at this stuff. I didn't even want Instagram in the first place. I just wanted to be able to browse the pictures.

Nobody gave me any steps. I tried going on the customer support and couldn't find how to actually speak with someone directly. It's impossible to find help. Maybe it's just me? I am not good at this stuff. I even tried calling the customer service phone number and it just said to visit the help center. I am about to give up because I seem to be getting nowhere and I'm wishing that I never even did this. I don't know if my account is just sitting there open to hackers or what now because it's disabled and I can't even do anything, so now my account is just sitting in limbo and I feel like anyone can just hack it now and I would have zero control.

I am sure it is not vulnerable to hackers. But it's not just you, the social media sites and tech behemoths are horrible. They will never let you speak to a human and will impose arbitrary changes on you, especially if you don't give them your phone number so they can steal your data.

 

I would recommend just setting up another account using another email, perhaps just a casual throwaway one that you create just for browsing Instagram. But yeah, I dont imagine you are at all vulnerable to hackers with your dormant account.

Wow sorry about that you are having such a hard time with that... The only thing about Facebook & Instagram (which are both owned by Mark Zuckerberg - Facebook Inc, also now known as 'Meta', I dont know why though lol, it just recently happened a few weeks ago lol - is their LACK OF TECHINICAL SUPPORT, THEY DONT HAVE ANY!

 

Sorry I just thought to mention that since recently I had an issue with my facebook account & could not sign in... Now I did write to their customer service link (since the ONLY WAY you could get a hold of is to write to them through the HELP LINKS of the facebook or instagram websites, unfortinately you can not call anybody through them for help, there are not tech support phone numbers for facebook or instagram, I found that out the hard way!) & it did take them a fewdays to get back to me, but they finally did... You juat have to pester them a few times... It most likely will take a few days, but hopefully they should get back to you & help you get into your account... I do wish you the best of luck, hopefully it will work out for you & everything... 😊👍

There are certain Browser extensions you can download to stop that from happening. Unhook Youtube is one.

Album release specials are becoming popular again. See for example what Adele is doing:

I wish Celine would start doing big album specials again :) I always enjoyed watching those. It made the release so special and it was the celebration of the new music. It is also an occasion and chance for the artist to perform only the newly released songs and give them a chance to shine.

 

It would be so cool if Celine came back with a new show to Resorts World, would release a brand new album before the premiere, and would then do an album special at the new stage at Resors World and dedicate one evening to only perform the new songs and then release that special worldwide digitally and also on Bluray and CD. That is what I truly hope for as a fan. This would also be great promo for the new show and the venue, and the people who come to see the show would still her her classics, but the release would be only dedicated to her new songs (she did that already in 2003 with 1f&4t, but this time I hope for something more elegant and high end that would also be globally released).
