While her voice is still amazing, it did change… You can definitely hear that her voice is less full than it was 6 years ago which is obviously normal… I’m not a doctor but I don’t think it has to do with her losing weight, just the fact that like everybody else the older you get that happens. She probably didn’t vocally train while off etc.

 

However, off topic the ratings of her special beat the lastest ratings of the Grammys, Oscars, Golden Globes and Emmys.

Hopefully this means Adele has revived the CBS Special and we get one again for Celine one day.

I'm convinced all questions are either approved in advance (for live interviews) or she can just decline to answer (so they can just cut the question) in prerecorded interviews.

Yea Iamcurious about that too... Although lets face it, Celine is NOT the only singer who does lip-synching nowadays... Sadly there are ALOT of other singers who use lip-synching more & more these days (thanks to advanced technology,) so it is not much of a big deal nowadays unlike back in the day...

 

But speaking of Celine doing interviews, I really DO MISS SEEING NEW CELINE INTERVIEWS! Even though I do know Celine was on a hiatus (thanks to the pandemic,) & now she is recovering from MOST LIKELY VERY SERIOUS HEALTH PROBLEMS, I do miss seeing & hearing new interviews from her... Even before the pandemic had started last year, we have had not many interviews from Celine in the recent years (even during the "Courage" album release era we didnt get much interviews!) Sorry I am just babbling as I am missing Celine so much! 😥😞

That’s why it never been asked by reporters or in interviews. Because it exists even before so why asked. It happens.

 

Actually, Céline has been caught doing it many times especially when doing TV Specials. No one just bothers asking it or making it big because lipsync exists it’s not recently made

There's general awareness of the former, but I think there would be a lot of unhappy punters if they discovered half the concert was mimed after paying a fortune to see Céline live because of her voice. That's the dirty little secret part - and the illusion that Team Céline has a huge vested interest in maintaining (and they're all lucky that Céline is so incredibly good at it!).

 

And it's obviously not just Céline - the general public is completely unaware and would be horrified to learn just how many very prominent artists do it "live" in concert as well. (Other than for artists like Britney, who pretty much everyone knows doesn't sing a note.)

Even if it exists way way before why would you want to expose yourself doing it. People knows it happens that’s why no one is bothering questioning these artists if they’re doing it or not.

But if you can’t really sing even before and you do that. That’s big

Something I noticed and wanted to share:

 

We often complain that the way Celine sings nowadays is weird and unlike the Celine we know, but Celine already had a weird way of singing a very long time ago if you look at this clip beneath as an example.

The difference is that back then Rene pushed her and required so many takes from her until they got the perfect one, and the end result was clear and impeccable. Nowadays she sings it a few times and her people praise her for every take and leave it at that.
