sorry but in the US celines french music is NOT sold here or played here on radio, TV, etc... so it is VERY HARD to access it even nowadays (& im on a daycare teachers salary, so i do NOT have $100s to blow on album imports from across the world!!) & plus all of my music collection is digital now anyway... & again i also dont speak french, i can only speak in english... 😉😉😊😊👍👍

Exactly, THANK YOU lol. There are many fans around the world who dont speak english or only speak it slightly, and yet love her english discography and listen to it alot, some it has even helped to learn english. So a language barrier is not an excuse in my opinion

Um, it's very accessible now. Try accessing it in the early 90's, now that wasn't easy.

Yes, there are 3 different numbers. The one where she's a cheerleader she never sings :S

 

I didn't u understand the point of this show. It seemed discombobulated, everyone was performing in their own little world, like they were trying to outdo each other. It was a bit exhausting to watch.

I remember that Celine Dion said that she did not want to sing the song My Heart will go on.

That song is what made her famous.

Isn’t it interesting that Encore Un Soir is the only Celine album without a single music video? I wonder why. Didn’t she have time to record any videos (apart from the EUS that never got released for whatever reason), or she just didn’t feel like filming a video? They could have easily taken some tour footage and some behind the scenes stuff and put a video together, but they never bothered to. I wonder what happened. Lack of interest? A mess in the team? well they have made the lyrics videos for EUS and Etoile...maybe they count that as music videos (they did also one for LMBTL instead of a real music video), just guessing. But I´m happy that we have these videos, they are great

I think they disliked how the video of EUS ended up, so they cancelled it. IMO it was recorded too late anyway. The lyrics video is pretty nice, but it's a shame they didn't record an actual video. I wouldn't have minded if it was like ONCP, where Céline wasn't actually part of the video, but it's still cool and pretty to watch!

I keep thinking how awesome it would be to have a bi-weekly or monthly YouTube vlog documenting Celine doing certain things, mostly work related but maybe a few personal moments like birthday parties or whatever. Why not make a youtube series, kind of like what Veronic does. She already has camera's follow her during occasions like the Met Gala, photo shoots, and video recordings, add in some clips vocal practices, ballet/gym, etc. She would have great content without even trying.

 

I know she's a super busy person, but it's just a thought. It would be so cool, especially with the world tour coming up.

Naaaaaaaaaah, they'll just professionally film all that stuff you said and then edit hundreds of thousands of footage into a 1.20 minutes commercial for her new Vegas run in 2025 with the album versions used as audio :whistling:

To my complete surprise today, I turned on the radio and Celine's cover of "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" was playing. I had never heard this played on the radio before, not even in the '90s when it was a single! lol

 

Yeah I've heard it twice on a local radio station recently too. So weird as I'd never heard it on the radio before either!
