This was from The event in LA on April 3rd she has on the same outfit and no that is her biker jacket she wears alot. Go on her post from April 3rd u will see she has that outfit on. And Pepe lives in new york.

It's a long trip to sing one song! Maybe she could send in a video? :lmao:

 

I believe it's the other way around, actually. Game 6 is scheduled for Oakland, Games 5 & 7 for Toronto on June 10th and 16th, respectively. So she could theoretically stop by en route to Montreal, if it goes that far.

She could bring the kids - I'm sure they wouldn't mind going to the game!

ah, the schedule i saw was wrong... would be game 7 then....

Alors que les audiences de la saison 8 de The Voice ne sont pas bonnes, la production de l'émission de TF1 prépare tout de même déjà la saison 9. Selon Public, ça devrait encore bouger du côté des coachs. Julien Clerc serait annoncé partant. Céline Dion aurait été contactée pour le remplacer.

I doubt Celine would want be to be a coach on The Voice. Even more difficult if it's in France...

Celine on new French Voice?

 

All this says is they've asked her - one of many such requests of her on a regular basis, I'm sure.

The US version has been asking for years and all she could muster was a few guest coaching appearances. With everything she's got going on, I highly doubt she's got the time or the inclination for a full-on judging gig with the French offshoot.

She might show up and do some kind of special appearance at best.

Celine’s yodel effect she does throughout her singing these days has gotten unbearable for me...it totally ruins some songs!

 

Chief example, the way she is singing A New Day Has Come in her acoustic Vegas medley... “hyuuush, nyowww....yow”

Celine is the best singer in the world, and always be, she never ruin a song, other wise you still have a studio streaming

Les Grands Ballets Canadiens had their season ending shows this week, and apparently, the show included Les Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal (a Montreal children's choir) singing some Celine songs.

Hopefully some videos surface at some point. (Judging by this post, it may have been The Prayer and BATB)

Pretty cool, seeing as the likes of Mego and Gregory Charles (and I'm sure many others who worked with Celine over the years) were members of this choir in their youth.

The Lemur Center’s now-youngest lemur shares her name with pop icon Céline Dion.

Céline, an endangered collared lemur, received a French name like all collared lemurs at the Duke Lemur Center. The name is French for “heavenly,” and Céline Dion is also one of her primary keeper’s favorite artists.

The young lemur recently reached a milestone.

“Baby Céline was seen climbing from mom Bijou’s belly onto her back for the first time, and although she hasn’t tasted it for herself yet, she’s seemed interested in the solid food her momma is eating,” a Duke Lemur Center Facebook post reads.

Céline may be small now, but collared lemurs grow to roughly the size of a cat when they reach adulthood. Collared lemurs generally eat fruit, leaves and flowers. "

It was indeed before the overhaul to the residency in 2015. Marc Langis left on his own terms at the same time to take up a position at the Conservatoire de musique du Québec in Gatineau.

I knew Marc was not released but left of his own accord - I thought it was a little after the others though.

Am I right in thinking then, that Mego and the others were firmly part of the team when Celine announced her break to take care of Rene, but were released before the new show and therefore did not have a formal “final performance” in Vegas or elsewhere for that matter?

Yes, exactly. I think it was March 2015, but their contracts were up, and they were called in for meeting and told there would be no new contracts. That was it. She started in August 2015 with a new team. Still makes me sad.

Same. I do love the new team, but I'm very curious how it all went down, because from what little we know, it could have been handled better.

I haven't read Mego's book, but judging by some of the promo he did, it was a tough period for him (understandably).

 

And equally curious how the split with Aldo came about. When Stephane Laporte was in Vegas last week, he clearly spend quite a bit of time with Aldo and his wife. So they'e still there, but who knows if they even went to the final show / if it was an amicable split.

 

But let's be honest... we'll never know.
