Yes, exactly. I think it was March 2015, but their contracts were up, and they were called in for meeting and told there would be no new contracts. That was it. She started in August 2015 with a new team. Still makes me sad.

 

Yes it was very sad. I don’t think anybody saw it coming and I would never have expected Mego to be for the cull!

I was worried for all of them. Given how close and loyal they had all been/seemed it felt like quite a brutal blow.

Obviously life goes on and I’m happy with how things are now but it makes you wonder.

And equally curious how the split with Aldo came about. When Stephane Laporte was in Vegas last week, he clearly spend quite a bit of time with Aldo and his wife. So they'e still there, but who knows if they even went to the final show / if it was an amicable split.

 

But let's be honest... we'll never know.

 

Is Aldo the man who replaced Rene as a manager? I didn’t realise he was no longer with her. When did they split exactly? I can’t remember seeing it reported anywhere.

 

Who is her manager now then?

Yes, I wouldn’t mind that job either ����

 

But i think dave platel is there to guide her but I don’t know.. if I’m the manager lol i will hire a creative director, makeup stylist, hairstylist, vocal coach, i will do everything to be like in 2007 again. More photoshoots, videoshoots. New perfumes, new website. And more lol

 

Then, a year off To take a break (im sure céline will never complain since it’s a year off) then after that new album. Be busy again

Well as Dave Platel is still there, we can assume he's taken the role as her manager (or "co-manager' like Aldo was, with Céline also being her own manager, together with Denis Savage).

RC must be graduating from high school right about now. I wonder if he has any college plans. Interesting that we haven’t heard. Wonder if he’ll end up working in the Celine machine or going out on his own . . .

Random quastion: Does anyone know the deal with the white flower that the boys (RC) gave her on stage. I know that Rene always gave her a bunch of roses at special shows,but today I read that he also gave her one white rose. Does anyone know anything about that? Just curious!

From what I read, Rene would always give Celine red roses after her shows but he would add a white one for special occasions. So thoughtful that Rene! :heart:

Thanks so much for the info!And people have a hard time understanding why she can't get over Rene. As she has said "I had the best husband" and in a recent interview "I won the jackpot with him" . I think she is right!

Been wondering the same. He's gone quiet on social media for the past few months. And as for college - I guess the only clue we got was his IG story from a long, long time ago that hinted at UNLV - but who knows whether that was his acceptance letter, and if so, whether he actually planned on attending.

Going far away for school and having a different experience would probably be very good for him, but I sense he wants to stay close to home.

Can't say if this is true or not but a friend (originally from Vegas) told me that one of his younger friends/family member goes to the same school as RC and they have to go in 1 day a week while the rest is homeschool. Because they only have to go 1 day you're not really allowed to miss too many of those days. Apparently RC has missed a few of those. Not sure if that means anything. Or if they make an exception because his mom is Celine. But part of me wonders if maybe he thinks his mom never really finished school and she's mega successful so he doesn't need to either?? Who knows but could be maybe some kind of rebellious stage. Or still dealing with the loss of his dad. Just some thoughts I had.
