I could see "Fade Away" working really well with a huge orchestra. Imagine that scene! So many string instruments furiously being played! Amazing imagery!

My question is maybe a bit strange :blush:

 

i think she knows how to drive... in past interviews i remember her saying that she wants to drive her own car to drop RC off to school and stuff and i also saw a video where she was at some chrysler event and she drove one of the cars into the showroom or wherever they were holding the event... but i think she can drive, but as for her driver's license... i bet it needs renewed because its probably been a while since she's had to drive anywhere lol :wink:

Hi, I don't know in which city it was when she almost "flashed" the audiance, it was for her Let's talk about love love but one thing i'm sur it's a 8:21 Rosie said Tontonton, it's pretty close to : tonton in french that's means breast that's why Celine was laughing.

 

You're absolutely right Véro in French slang(in Québec) it does! :thumbsup2: and that's why Céline found it funny! But as you may know Véro in French(in France) it means "uncle!" That's part of why sometimes comedy or what makes people laught is so hard to translate I guess... :D

I'm not sure why I didn't think of this years ago, but has Rene's voice always been raspy?

If I were a person who heard him speak for the first time, I would have guessed he was sick. Anything to do with the cancer he had?

* December 18, 2008. 1st time ever in front row for a concert and it was with my idol Celine!

Dream #1 accomplished.

 

While singing a ballad the only time Celine looked at me was the time I had my sign up luckily!

She stretched out her arm palm faced up while singing with even more emotion in her eyes when she saw it, so it seemed like it was just for me at that moment.

Dream #2 accomplished with the extra bonus!

 

She came and left on my side. I went out 1 row, held up my sign and she stopped, held it herself,

and just looked at it with an awe expression on her face, stunned and amazed when she saw all the glitter!

She looked me in the eyes with those beautiful brown eyes of hers she was tuned into me at that moment and didn't look away, again her looking so emotional as I said with a sincere look on my face to her "It took me 5 hours to make this." (could have been more not sure)

She looked down and away very touched like maybe she wanted to cry then she HUGGED me!!!

She held me for more than just a moment She really took her time! I said to her while about to cry from the hug, "I love you so much!" Then that was it I don't think she said a word to me.

I was crying and saying omg all night with my heart racing and my mind in SHOCK from the unexpected hug and my eyes so sore from crying. I was ready to drop when I got home, but was so emotional I stayed up until 6:30 a.m.! Cried a little for a few days after. Sign and front row seat saved the day!

but AND was the closest one to theatre show ..

oh can u imagine if Celine do like one of those opera / musical theatre shows!!!

 

and it would be so cool to combine many talents like

Franco Dragone (again) for show direct, Andrew Lloyd Webber (songs compose) and Luc Plamondon (songs lyrics)!!! can u imagine.. lol

Ahhhhh, that would be amazing.

 

But I think of Barbra Streisand...and how she STILL sells out arenas. I can only imagine it will be that way for Celine as well.

 

I would absolutely love it though. The intimacy - the types of songs - the entire experience would be so rich. :yes:

I know his voice has always been a bit like "The Godfather," but I believe the rasp has gotten more pronounced since having cancer. You will notice he nearly always has a bottle of water with him.

 

So, I'd say it's always been like that, but it's worse now.

what was the tv interview she did all the way back when she started to cry because she couldn't talk about her love to Réne? What show was that and is there a video of it somewhere? I have never seen it.

the interview was with lise payette in 1992 on a show called tete-a-tete i know it used to be on youtube but when i checked just now to try to find a link for you it wasn't there anymore. but i hope that little bit of info i had helps.. :D

I think it is in my story my dream, where she mentions Rene's voice was always like that but the cancer made it worse, and thats why he always carries water with him.

ok i posted this on the "Miles to Go" thread, but i think i better ask this here :)

 

isn't it about time for Sony BMG to remaster Let's Talk About Love? the sound quality of the disc is god awful from top-bottom. this is the only reason why i couldn't appreciate it the way i appreciate some of her albums. i don't know if it was their intention to make this album a bass heavy/less treble sounding album, but it just sounds weak and quite boring. :mellow:

At the end of the LTAL recording sessions thing when Celine gets into the limo, is it her that goes, "oh s***"? It sounds like her voice but it's too dark and the credits are rolling over so I can't really see. I'm pretty sure it is but this stuff drives me nuts if I don't know for sure.
