She could be in Montreal for all we know. She doesn't always have to take her personal jet. Maybe she gave her pilot some time off for the holidays :xmas_tongue:

 

 

I have a question. Does Celine's family have an CDs out? I know they all sing together.

If you follow the link you will find on the site there is two cds available. The most recent is "The Dion show" where three family members sing their latest show, the one they are touring right now.(the others who did the holiday shows have other jobs or comitments to go back to.) And then, there is another called "Le party des fêtes" where there is seven members of the family singing. It must be the cd of the show they have been doing for many years now during the holidays at the Montréal Casino and other places..

On the site you can listen to one by clicking on : Écoutez la version intégrale de Domino

"The Dion show" is a collection of old favorites of them.

There is also extracts of all the tracks of "The Party des fêtes", click "Extraits" for all those holiday songs. This cd has been directed by Scott Price(sound familiar? :xmas_wink: ) There is "Dans nos vieilles maisons" and "Joe Brûlé"(parts of it they sang on the Plains).

well if you think about it, Vegas is sort of RC's home home.. Montreal probably feels like going to visit family. He's probably had christmas in vegas every since they moved there! I'm sure they'll switch the tradition over to the FL house once its finished and the tour is over.

 

As far as I know last year was the first year they spend Christmas in Vegas because Céline had only a couple of days of rest and had to start rehearsal for her upcoming tour. They always did and do a big party with all the family at her golf course in Montréal for years.

 

As for this year I don't know exactly except that Maman Dion said it would not be at Mirage because there is renovation going on right now. Maman Dion will give a party January 3 for all the family but she said Céline is not going to be able to attend this year because she will be back on tour that night.

 

Anyway I don't have any doubt that many of them will see each other during the holidays. Either they will go to Vegas or Céline and family will come to Montréal at some point.

Since we have this new Celine font, I was wondering where I can find the others. I remember being able to download fonts they used on other CDs (such as One Heart and On ne Change Pas) but I never did because I couldn't figure out how. Now that I have a mac it is easy and I'd like to be able to use them.... So where can I find them?

I have a question that I'v been wanting to ask you all for a long time now. A while ago when Céline recorded the "Think Twice" vid, she gave an interview at the time for Musique Plus in Québec and she was saying she was suppose to record a duet of an old Andy William's song called "It's impossible" with Luis Miguel. Do anyone know if it happened? I never followed up on this. Has that been recorded and is it on some Luis Miguel cds? I would really like to know. Anyone has infos on this?

i do believe her highest note was Naked's "Take me wherever you want toooooo..." before the 2nd chorus. i have a friend who's a music professional (he's a voice coach btw), and based on his piano alone, her highest note was that line in Naked. Edited by dhena

Did anyone else notice that the January Teamceline calendar has the wrong birthdates on it??? :doh: I sent them an email. It's pretty sad that it's Celine's immediate family's birthdays.. I mean how could you screw up Rene and RC's birthday alone and then put Patrick Angelil's b-day on RC's real one? Hopefully it was just a slip and will be fixed soon...

Question about when Celine is performing on stage: Has she ever had to sneeze, cough, or yawn?? I know that happens to me somtimes (it's not like I am a big star haha but just when I'm singin' along) has she ever had to? haha silly question. and what would she do if she needed to during like the power of love?

I suppose she'd just have to do some crazy dance move to cover it up. :lol:

 

Was the show Celine performed the day her father died the full show? Because she said she basically talked her way through the show. So I'm thinking certain songs may have been missing, I'm sure you know which ones I mean.

Apparently Celine's in some kind of French tabloid this week? Can someone tell us what that's all about? I know it's probably pure crap, I'm just curious what it said.

 

If you're talking about France Dimanche (scanned in the french section) it's seems to be pure crap you're right. The front page says René and Céline's couple is splash by a scandal. Apparently the scandal is the unauthorise movie "Céline". :xmas_rolleyes:

I have not read it myself but everyone in the french section says it's crap too so...

Oh ok, thanks. Tabloids are so annoying. And I know the movie is crap and the details are off, but I didn't think there was anything scandalous in it!?

yes I did!!! I can never forget RC bday is Jan 25 ...i use that in my passwords a lot :xmas_smile:

They put Rene's bday is on the 13th but I think it's the 16th right?

The frog ok. She received one on one of the very first shows. And being so supersticious our Celine she kept the frog with her in her dressing room wherever she went. Later on people started giving her frogs forgs and well even in the LTAL tour they sold a little Celine froggy.

 

I wonder if it has to do anything with frogs being good luck charms in some cultures...

 

another frog related story : in an interview from 1f4t era celine said she and rc wrote a song together about a frog that appeared in their pool :)

Can someone please tell me this isn't true? Or at least tell me what the article says, and why?

 

Obviously they don't know what to talk about so they seem to make a big deal out of everything or nothing this year :xmas_rolleyes: , it's unbelievable how ridiculous it has become... :xmaswhistling: When she was sick and has to postponed some shows they also said she had to stop right in the middle of a U.S. show... :xmas_rolleyes: We all know that didn't happen. :xmas_rolleyes: It's more dramatic to report the news this way I guess, to me I find it's become so ridiculous these days...and not just for Céline I guess....

Anyway Céline was suppose to finish this tour mid February and now with those rescheduled shows she had to postponed she will end it at the end of February as we already know. So it's clear she will give a try to have this second baby a little bit later I guess. I haven't heard of nothing else that we don't already know. So much crap infos written.. :xmaswhistling: If they are still making magazine covers with her, at least it means she's still relevant and she still sells...I guess this is the positive side. ;)
