i was wondering the same thing... i replayed it like 10 times when i first watched it and i also thought that it was her who said it... but i went to watch it again and i can't find it anywhere..... :confused:

i am wondering if céline ever visits or visited her brothers and sisters in their own homes :hmm: I can't help feeling that céline only meets them on special occations and/ or in restaurants/ hotels/ meeting rooms... which is kinda sad :(

At the end of the LTAL recording sessions thing when Celine gets into the limo, is it her that goes, "oh s***"? It sounds like her voice but it's too dark and the credits are rolling over so I can't really see. I'm pretty sure it is but this stuff drives me nuts if I don't know for sure.

I heard her say 'oh f***' during the recording session of 'Can't fight the feeling' - as she knocks over the water bottles and says 'see that's why I don't wear makeup.'

I think so too, it's more like oh or something like that. :yes: Anyway what you english guys call the "f" word is being said by french people in Québec sometimes and doesn't mean anything as bad for us as for you, it's not that big of a deal for us here. There are words that are a lot worse to say for francophone here than f***. All those words even the better ones like geez, gosh or whatever is better(or not) don't really come out spontaneously when your native language is french. Those things are learn and are being use when you talk a second language being calm and all. I'm sure that when Céline is not happy, mad or impatient it's probably coming out more often in french...I'm sure she knows a lot of those words that she probably uses like most people do here sometimes. :giggle:

 

I mostly wanted to tell you that for a Québecer(like Céline) to say f***, it's really not a bad word as much as it seems to be in U.S. for example even though I don't think that's what she said. I'm sure she knows very well though what it means by now for english speaking people that would get a very different reaction than if it was said in french at home. It would be the same for "oh s***" for example. We tell the children not to say that but for an adult to say it, it would be like saying "merde!" for the french in France. Trust me it's nothing really! :) Different culture, sometimes different meaning I guess. :D

Not really :shrug: I was just curious (and bored) and I remembered that I found it around 8-9 in the morning, and I had yet to go to bed so I was easily amused :laugh: :blushing1:

I didn't think this was big enough to make a thread over, but on the latest Country Weekly (Reba McEntire on the cover :wub: :wub:), there's an article on Reba and what she listens to on Christmas and Celine's These Are The Special Times is on the list :w00t: :clap: I absolutely love Reba (my avatar on here is her, lol) and so finding out that she loves Celine totally made my day :heart: I will scan it when I get the magazine later.

so i'm watching this pageant show on tlc and the theme for the pageant is red white and blue and GUESS WHAT THE MUSIC IS IN THE BACKGROUND!!! OUR GIRL SINGING GOD BLESS AMERICA!!! i love it! haha i just wanted to share, and i didn't really know where but i guess this works?! haha this is so exciting!

 

I WAS TOTALLY WATCHING THAT!!!! :w00t: I was like OMD that's celine singing!!! the song completely fit for that moment and I think that Asia girl should have won even though I didn't like her singing...

Yeah it's nice isn't it? I knew Reba loved Céline, I heard her saying that she loved her for the first time in the early 90's.

I love Reba also, I think she(like Céline) cares very much for her fans. She's one of the U.S. best voices and performer in country music in my opinion. Another one would be Martina McBride and I know she loves Céline very much too.

I know definitely! I think it is so cute that her grandma has stuck by her and helped her all those years! Very cute! And the song was definitely SO appropriate! :D

I completely agree. Martina McBride is one of my favorite country artists, she is the tiniest women but she can just belt those words out so beautifully! I've always been a fan of hers and Reba's. Both very genuine women. Just like our Celine!

Any chance you remember where Reba said that? I've been a fan of hers since '94 and I was pretty obsessed started around 2003 and I don't ever remember her saying anything about Celine :down: And no bias here since I love them both dearly...but Celine is 10x better with her fans. I've met Reba a lot of times and although she's sweet and nice, she is kind of impersonal and she flat-out refused when I asked if I could take a picture with her.

Ditto for me. I couldn't tell you right now Allie where and when exactly. I just remember it because I've loved Céline since "forever" and those kind of comments we notice and we never forget. I remember being pleased to hear Reba saying she loved Céline or thought she was a very talented singer or had an amazing voice, something like that, along those lines. But I'll think about it too..

As for the comment about how she is with her fans, that's what I heard but I guess being an actual fan of hers yourself you should know better than me about this.

please help me: I'm searching pictures and videos of celine's and rene's las-vegas-wedding of the year 2000.

 

and second:

 

had there been a poll here in the forum about the meaning of "LV". celine once said, that although she's an open book, what "LV" really means to her and rene will be kept a secret ... would be interested what her fans think that means. I think it means "Las Vegas" and something very special must have happend between them at this place ... maybe their first night togehter?!?!?!?!

so here's the topic i have been thinking for few years... and i always wanted to post this topic.. but keep forgetting lol

 

anyway here's the list of whatever happened to.... the things that was planed and suppose to release.. but nothing......

- Toi et moi... the duet with Charles.. (was wondering about it from 2003 but now it's released..)

- A New Day Has Come Spanish version (was planing for a latin drama.. but nothing...) also HYEBIL spanish version too

- Live In Memphis DVD (there's a topic about it..)

- I Have To Dream (song from children on their birthday) and still nothing... i want it.. lol

- Tony Moran the person who remix Celine's 90 hits like IACBTMN, MHWGO, TLYM and so on..

i thought it would be great if he remix some Celine's recent work!

- Baby doll it was gonna release recent last year or so and then there's nothing... no news at all... if u remember it..

- baby cloth line.. there was news about it like Celine gonna work with Anne Geddes and create a baby cloth line and again no news...

- TC tour edition i still don't get it why they didn't release it.. but release My Love collection instead...... bad move..(i think at least)

 

of course there's more like AND blonde dvd, millennium concert dvd (this one is really important), English concert of LTAL tour... and we know the reason for some.. and the list goes on
