Why "my voice"? It doesn't make sense, does it?

 

She's restating what the background singers were singing while she was hitting the high note: "You were my voice when I couldn't speak" so she sings "My voice" :thumbsup2:

But I REALLY feel I heard 't' instead of 'v'

 

It's odd! maybe it is because of my ears!

She sings the words "my voice" like five times troughout the song.. Of course it seems logical she would repeat it...

 

This song is the love theme in a movie, so she's obviously singing it to a man.. What sense does "mother" make in these lyrics then? :huh:

^_^ We have all had problems with song lyrics even with songs in our native tongue, believe me!

 

I remember something funny: I always sang a part of the song "Love Shack" by The B-52's, when there is a high note (more like a scream actually) I screamed

Heeeeeenry, busted!!!

 

and the song actually says

Tin roof, rusted!!!

Wow after all these years I'm just now finding out she's saying "my voice"... I always thought she was just ad libbing a sound or something. Weird revelation. Although she falls short of saying "voice" entirely, it's more like "my voyyyyyy."

Yes I know all that of course, and yes they are all thin, but the woman has legs out of this world and an amazing figure, I just wondered if she works out with a trainer or else, she must just eat like a sparrow, I'm sorry I don't care who you are celebrity or not but once you hit your late 30s especially after having children your body needs much more attention. I've never seen her exercise with somebody in any footage I've ever watched so i gather she must be a light eater :)

Well I would guess she has a fast metabolism, as the others said- due to genetics and the fact that she never ever keeps still!

But we all know she doesn't appreciate the rumors about her not eating, and she and the people who know her say she eats all kinds of stuff, so I don't believe she has any kind of problem.

Plus, she's not really the superficial, obsessive about her appearance type. I remember her saying that after she had RC she lost all the 'baby weight' in 6 weeks, but she had actually hoped to keep some of it! It just came off naturally. Everybody is different. Sometimes people get jealous and can't understand that. :(

Oh also she has said she eats when she's hungry and simply stops when she's full. Which is probably something all people should do LOL, but it's harder for some, than others!

Lol I didn't mean you specifically when I said that, I don't know if you are jealous or not. I'm not sure that you can buy a metabolism lol...maybe it's best to try loving whatever you have ;)

LOL yeah...she's hot! But I'm sure you're beautiful too. The world would be boring if we all looked the same, and God didn't intend for humans to be clones lol. (Like penguins, they're cute, but how do you tell which one is which? And do penguins even have legs, by the way?) In the end, it doesn't make sense to try to look like someone else. Ok I think I'm gonna go to bed now before I start sounding like a Public Service Announcement.
