You are not wrong. She quit school and hasn´t regretted it. She thinks education is important but for her, she had a different goal.

 

Think she was 14 when she quit school

 

She has no regret it's true, she didn't fit in and she had different goal it's also true. But she thinks and said recently that it worked against her in a way at the beginning of her carreer at least. She feels she didn't have the tools to defend herself so she was always afraid to answer all those question. When she was 15 years old and already performing, she didn't know what to say to her public exactly. She talks about that in the interview "À coeur ouvert" that aired on TV5 not long ago with D. Bombardier. I also know that she encourages RC a lot with school which is good and that she's glad he likes it a lot and he's doing so well. It's well-known that there is a lot of people who didn't like school and weren't that good and went and achieved wonders in their carreer. Each their destiny...

I have a question about Celine's Japanese version of World to Believe in... I've heard both a plainer version, and a version that has the same intro as the instrumental and an echo on her voice. Does anyone know what the deal is?

Don´t know, but I knew a woman from Montreal who said she uses bad words in french. But if that´s correct or not, I don´t know.

 

Hope she doesn´t, it doesn´t fit her to say bad words

There's a recording session from TC on youtube..I will see if I can find and add on here, where she is goofing around and knocks a bottle of water off a table beside her and yells F*** lol and then says something like it's a good thing she doesn't wear makeup everyday or she would be a complete mess lol....i will find it it's so funny.

I listen to that over and over again and all I can make out is her saying "Oh" not the F word. I really don't hear it, it just sounds like oh or some kind of noise and its kind of got an echo to it.

no its not the voice comes from behind the camera, I've watched it four times now. also Michel is laughing when the man says be nice so it can't be Michel talking, and the same guy says have a great show. Michel isn't talking loud enough for the subtitles to pick it up, the only thing I get him saying is perfect ok. when he checks Celine's sleeve and then you can hear him laugh but thats all. Its also a very deep voice that talks, Michel's voice isn't that deep. Just watch it again, and look when Be Nice is said, Michel is laughing. Just to make sure I did see and hear it right I've watched that part atleast a dozen times now and its definetly not Michael saying be nice.

 

But I thought that she whispered something in his ear after seeing that face she made when he said be nice.

nope she doesn't. I just watched it again, two more times and no face the night vision camera makes her eyes glow and the glitter reflects and she does do this quick like sharp sniff that scrunched her face up a bit but she wasn't making it at anyone or at a remark anyone made and she only whispers once and Michel laughs, the other guy says be nice and have a good show and she goes out on the moving platform. and there may have been a quick sniff from Michel I did see that, I'm not sure why he did that. Maybe she asked him to check her parfum? O.o

 

okay I've watched this god knows how many times now and I think I may get what they are laughing at. I think maybe Celine asks Michel or makes a remark about either her parfum or some smell back where they are at backstage because she does that quick sniff again and whispers to him, he laughs and then she sniffs again, the guy says be nice, Michel checks her outfit, kind of sniffs her sleeve and then the guy says have a great show and she goes on the platform.

Don't know about the HB poster but the dvd was filmed during the 3rd week in Jan 2007 - think it was 17th -21st if i remember correctly.

its in the family life in the all acess, after the concert. When Celine goes to RC and he is sleeping, it's above the fireplace

 

here is a screencap of it. its easier to see on the tv or your computer if you just watch the clip. if you notice you see the same red balloons around the fireplace, in different places in the house. You seem them in the Quebec verison too.

if you are talking about the Quebec video it is a toy, he has a voice changing toy. It records your voice and then has options to change it. The headphones were for the little toy thing that went off when Celine opened the door. RC told Celine he could hear them come in, it was some type of toy alarm with a motion sensor on it that went off when the door opened. Because Celine imitated the noise to RC and he told her it was so he could hear them come in. The headphones were for that I believe and then he had the voice changer toy that he told her someone gave him.

I just watched that video and she definitely said F*ck. It's obvious that she said it even without a head's up. I heard it clearly. And busted out laughing. I would have never thought that she would say something like that but I guess we all curse eventually!

 

edit: BTW, does anyone know where I can download her appearance on Sesame Street in 1996?
