I love how many just call her 'Queen Céline' now, like it's part of her name, no further explanation needed

Yup. It's definitely become common parlance!

And interesting, too, is that they have Agency listed as "CDA Productions", not AEG.

Yes I thought so also.
I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.

I thought they were mentioning her personal agency, not touring agency. So I didn't think much of it..

"Céline Dion took chances and took back control

— Brendan Kelly

Céline Dion didn’t release a new album in the past 12 months, but the Quebec pop diva still managed to deliver one of the most intriguing storylines of the year.

Dion has been doing her usual job filling the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. She also unveiled a line of handbags — an endeavour that will be best remembered for the launch event here this summer at Browns Shoes, which may well have been the funniest press conference I’ve ever attended. (If you don’t believe me, please watch the video in which Dion and I spar over her personal life and finally decide we actually love each other.)

But the real Céline story wasn’t about her career. It’s a story of a 49-year-old woman taking back control of her life, which has been exciting to see. It’s been almost two years since the death of René Angélil, her husband and longtime manager, and Dion looks to be coming out of her shell.

She began working with hot fashion designer Law Roach, who spiced up her look, and she broke ties with manager Aldo Giampaolo, who had been hand-picked by Angélil to keep things moving in the same direction as before.

Now that she has broken free from that conservative past, she seems to be having a lot more fun. She’s popping up at glitzy fashion shows in Paris. She’s getting steamy on stage with a sexy young dancer in Europe. In short, she’s doing what she feels like doing, and more power to her.

“Let me be clear: c’est moi le boss,” she said at the event at Browns. “I’m not playing bossy. I am the boss. … After a big loss, I feel like I’m alive. That I can take chances and go for it.”

It’s been inspiring to see this transformation, and it will be interesting to find out if this new, more adventurous spirit is reflected in the English-language album she’s working on right now."

New album is going to be called Peakock, or I Want To Be Your Peakock, because Céline will get back to her peak with it.

Photoshoot for the album cover will feature her as a real peacock

Not bad for an artist who hasn’t released an English-language record for ~5 years -

18 Stars You Didn’t Know Were Secretly Royalty

"As we mentioned in Madonna’s entry, Celine Dion can also trace her roots back to Quebec settler Jean Guyon and French carpenter Zacharie Cloutier. This not only links her to the Divine Miss M, but to the current Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla Parker-Bowles (the three women are 9th and 10th cousins with each other). But Celine Dion has other royal roots beyond her connection to Prince Charles’ second wife. The Canadian chanteuse also has ties to medieval France. Like Angelina Jolie, Dion can trace one branch of her family all the way back to Phillip II. All these common connections make us wonder if there’s some sort of distant family reunion that shouldn’t be planned sometime soon… Goodness knows it’d be one seriously good-looking and talented soiree."

I'm seriously loving the part of the millennium concert where Bryan Adams sings Summer of '69 and then he and Céline perform three of his songs together!! I'm watching it a couple of times a day at the moment, I just love it. They both sound so great here. And I think it's cute when Céline goes to sing his part then hesitates to sing her bit during the first chorus of Everything I Do. Really been loving Bryan's music as of late, and going to see him in May when he comes to London!! 🤗 I thought if I can't see Céline again, he is the next best thing 😂 Just so long to wait!

https://youtu.be/qnhWFxzRLRw The segment is from about 1:03:30 to about 1:20:40, for anyone who wants to relive it!

If I could have attended any concert out there, it would be this one! It's the best.
