Yes... but the French one only is released as a 1 disc, so in the end, it has less songs! :mdr:

 

Nope 😉 the French version has been released also as "THE ESSENTIAL ULTIMATE COLLECTION" including 2 discs for a total of 30 songs (including "One Heart, "Ten Days" and more) 😉

Tonight Marc Dupré had a TV special for the launch of his new album that happened a few weeks ago. There was a brief segment where Céline appeared and gave him words of encouragement and congratulations on his new album. There was also a talk on the role that René played in his life and career. It was beautiful.

Not much has been told about this collaboration. What I always heard the band tell about this song is that, when they were recording the album and Humberto Gatica was in Las Vegas (he was the producer of the album), he thought about adding some female vocals to this song and thought Céline would be suitable for this, so being both working in Vegas at that time, he presented the song to Céline and she agreed and recorded the vocal adlibs in the studio. That was probably done during the 1f&4t sessions, since the album came out in November 2003. As we know, she didn't say a single word in Spanish unfortunately.

 

They didn't record the song together either. The vocals in Spanish were already done, and Céline recorded her vocals after the band's work. They didn't meet until some time later, when Café Quijano was invited to attend Céline's show and they thanked her for her participation in the album.

 

Thank you. I knew nothing of this song or this band before it was posted here. I am completely mesmerized by Celine's vocals in this song. It just puts it over the edge, I love her adlibs. I have memorized most of the song by now, however I have no idea what they sing about though even though I know the "words" and sounds. I know most of Celine French songs just by memorizing it. I usually look up non English songs and use Google translate to understand them, but I haven't done that with this song yet. I know it's not completely accurate, but it's better than nothing.

 

Thanks for the info, there seems to be difficult to find actual facts about so many things related to Celine's career.

I know TVA has it on their website, however I would say it's only available to watch in Canada.

I finally figured out how to manually add album art to my Celine albums within iTunes that don't have them!!!! It's so nice now to be able to have the full experience lol

Can please someone explain to me this nonsense with not matching hashtags on Instagram. If I type #celinedion there is mostly Mariah Carey but also Whitney Houston, Cher. I don't get that.

Is there a trick how to get only the Celine postings?

The Only thing you can do is block them.. I blocked so many Mariah accounts and Still I get Mariah pics so annoying

I'm also annoyed when Céline fans tag other famous people. I don't get why they do it. They must be as annoyed at them as we are annoyed by other fandoms doing it

I was Just thinking that. I Hope she is ok, but for sure its a hard day for her. I was watching some old vídeos of her on Opra.she and René were so cute together.
