Sorry, I was talking about Celine Comm. - non official fan forum. I couldn't write the entire name because i got censored.

 

I wasn't really active on Celine Conversations.

Do you guys know when was the first celine dion website started? Because i saw justin timberlake's website in the 90's haha i wonder if céline have a website also back in the 90's...

oh my god yes!!! i do remember this! coz i remember it being called celine online - i used to go over to my friends house to use the internet haha and i remember we found out that a 'greatest hits' compilation was going to come out. wow those were the days...and i think i made her print out all the photos that were on there haha

Pleasant? hahaha That's not how I remember it. People were always complaining that their freedom of speech was being compromised and that moderators were nasty meanies.

True! But trust me, comparing to the French section, the English one was quite normal. After many years I still can't believe what kind of nonesense I was reading in the French one. There was bunch of freaks divided into clans. A true madhouse. :lol:

Hello everyone. During the last tour, a sweat-shirt was sold at the concert shop with the picture of the single titanic. I can not find him anywhere ... does any of you own it that he sell? can I get it? if any of you go to the Vegas store, could you tell me if he edt available down there?Thank you for your help..

She looks so pretty here. All are on point! She should go back to her old eyebrow style (even if it's far apart) looks better than extending it to the glabella (space between the eyebrows)

Apparently tonight is the first game of the new Las Vegas Golden Nights hockey team. I wonder if RC is watching in the audience? :hmm: I am also wondering if RC will perhaps play for this team in a couple of years. I think he has to be at least 19 years old to play in the NHL, so not much longer now. I remember reading this story awhile back and someone can correct me if I am remembering this wrong, but wasn't Rene friends with the hockey coach of the Las Vegas Golden Nights team?

 

I thought I remembered reading that RC basically would have it in the bag, if he auditioned to be on the team, because the hockey coach of the Vegas team knew Rene or something? We've even seen RC wearing the Golden Nights uniform recently and Celine was sporting the team sweater as well, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happen in a couple years time. :-D

Yes haha. Also, I cannot hear the opening ad libs that kicked off most concerts on the tour this summer without bawling. I'm actually scared to hear them because they immediately do that to me )': I still think of the 21st June concert I was at, every day. Honestly one of my favourite memories. Was SO worth the money. I think that concert was the first time they introduced the ad libs too <3

What's funny is that I was watching TPOL from the tour and every time she sang those ad libs, I cried!!

Do you have a song that you just absolutely can't listen to for any reason? For me, it's "Goodbye's the Saddest Word". I am incredibly close to both of my parents. This one just tears my heart out. One day I know the song will be really healing for me, but right now, I just can't even bare the thought of life without my mom. :wub: It's the only song on any album that I skip every time.

Can totally understand that. For me it's the same song, it was the third anniversary of my mums death Friday. And also Dance With My Father, my dad died 4 years ago.

Thank you. It's hard to lose them, to have lost them so close together. It was 20 months between them. But that's life, and it was awful seeing them struggle. So my advice for anyone is spend as much time as possible with them while you can. It's nice to hear you're close to your parents. Give them an extra long hug from me 😃 And you will cope without them. Everything around you will remind you of them. As you're close to them you will be able to hear their advice etc any time you wish. But hopefully you won't have to deal with this for a long time! Songs will bring both happy and sad memories. Music does. Music heals. Celine heals. Not sure I'll ever be able to listen to those two songs again but there's hundreds of others for me to enjoy. I can still hear mum asking me, when she heard my neighbour playing ATW album, if this is the song with the Bee Gees, and her singing along to TPOL - we both loved Jennifer Rush in the 80's singing it 😁 Funny what things pop into your head 😂
